For the past 3 years my family's life has been a living hell because we have been treated like slaves on the black market by the family court system in our area. In court I have been riduculed, insulted, screamed at, made a joke of, and threatened to be thrown in jail for actually following court orders made by other judges. My child now has to lives half of her life in a neighborhood consisting of 8 red alert pedifiles, with her grandmother who smokes marajuana everyday, her grandfather who smokes ciggarettes everyday, and gets no child support from her father because one of the first judges I had made a mistake and took away my full custody with no just cause. So I consulted with a lawyer and was told that none of this would've happened if the judge had ordered properly on my case. So my question is, can lawyers sue judges for making a wrong judgement? I feel I deserve something for pain and suffering, lost wages, unpaid child support, and doctors bills since my child is always sick.

In most cases, judges have judicial immunity meaning that they cannot be sued. You can appeal a judge's decision but you cannot sue a judge because you believe that the decision is incorrect. You have no cause for pain and suffering and you were not forced to pursue any matter in court so you have no cause for lost wages. Unpaid child support and doctor's bills should be compensated by the father, not the judge. You must appeal the previous judge's decision if you feel in was incorrect.

No, even if you try, I don't think you'll get too far with the lawsuit. I've read your other questions, and I know you don't asked me but I could just advice you to relax, all what you've been through it has tearing you apart, and could make you mentally unstable. I don't know why they removed your daughter from your custody but instead of trying to blame everybody else, find the way ....the right way to get her back, probably if you go to counseling and some parenting classes (even though I can tell you're a good mother but there's nothing bad on taking extra knowledge) and you know try to lay down the complaining with your ex, if you make a serious change of attitude probably that would give your baby girl back. Again...I don't know what happened to you, but judging with your other questions I just feel for you. I know the pain you could be suffering right now...but also I know that you have to maintain your "coolness" to see things more clearly, and then you can appeal the judge decision and show that you are indeed a fit mother. Good Luck and God Bless you!

It should be legal to sue a judge but the issue is what lawyer will take on a judge? It's like going against a police or any other official no one wants to take it on because of the under the table things that goes on with these officials. They can make life hell for the person that took that project on

Not unless you can prove the judge was in collusion with someone else and that was the reason for his judgement. Sorry. You can try to appeal and get his ruling reversed though, and it sounds like you have good reason to.
