If we know of a resident alien who says the people who were murdered at Virginia Tech deserved it, who do we report them to so they can be deported before they murder Americans? If someone says we deserve to be murdered, he might try to do to us what he says we deserve, and I don't want to take that chance. I want them out of my country.

Just after the last war the British government carved up a vast landmass called Arabia. Part of this land was called IRAQ. There was no reason for the bringing this area together as one nation since it had always contained three different and waring tribes. In order to make sure the three tribes did not go to war again. They put in place a strong tribal leader called Sadam Husain. He maintained the peace in this land for 50 years, albeit by force. But the fact is that most Iraqi people today would gladly have this dictator back, if it got rid of the US and UK troops.

I am considering joining the Navy at age 28. It's a decision I'm not sure about yet, but I did walk into a recruiter's office last week to learn more.
I ended up taking the ASVAB on my second visit to the office, and scored a 95 (out of 99).
Now, the recruiter's trying to rush me to go to MEPS, and reserve my job...to enroll in the DEP (Delayed Entry Program).
I'm not ready to make a decision about joining yet.
I don't want to be pressured by my recruiter, but I would like to learn more about jobs.
I've been told that when I go to MEPS, they'll drug test me, do a complete physical, then I'll sit with Classifiers who will talk to me about job options.
My understanding is that I HAVE TO choose a job after I speak with these Classifiers.
I don't want to be forced to choose a job on the spot that day.
I want time to think about it before I commit, to make sure I am making the right decision.
Do I have to choose on that day?

How do I get my recruiter to listen to me and not rush me?

How about Hezbollah and Hamas?. . . several uninformed people often try to delude us all and say that Hamas and Hezbollah are political organizations (pardon me while I choke ) , so , do tell , how many 'Peace Marches' have been led by the likes of these 'oh so loving people' within Palestine , Hamas , or Hezbollah ?

Why don't they burn a Hamas or Hezbollah flag or checker-boarded garment ?

I'm an intelligent woman who was a straight-A student & should be doing more with her life than working in the restaurant business.
I'm 28 yrs old, and a college drop-out. I should never have left college, because I'm intelligent (top 10% of my class), and value education.
I love to travel & have a high aptitude for languages.

At this point in my life, it's time to get serious. I believe 4 yrs in the Navy could get me places that 4 yrs on my own wouldn't lead me to right now.
I don't really have any reason to NOT join. Maybe a fear of dying, but I believe the Navy places me at less risk.
I am ready for a challenge, and want to invest my time wisely.
But what if I hate it and am miserable?

I'm a smart cookie, and I think I'm wasting my brain and my talents by just living life as please.
I got a 95 on my ASVAB entrance exam & am interested in becoming a CTI (Interpreter) which means I'd go to Defense Language Inst. in Monterey for training.
Please help me with my decision. Thank you!

As a liberal I oppose all forms of killing people no matter what size they are.

I do think the Bible was right with the paluative care suggestions. "Give strong drink to a dying man"

It seems like every issue has become a moral issue where there is no retreat or compromise. It's gotten to the point that a Liberal and a Conservative can't have a political discussion without breaking things. It's destroying the country. From abortion, gun control, immigration, health care, social security, globalization, death penalty, taxes, welfare, religion, unions, terrorism, iraq, and just about every important issue we fail to do anything because we are unwilling to ever risk compromise. Why did this happen?

Some conservatives seem to be unable to disagree with liberal viewpoints without becoming venomous. I've seen some idiotic questions from both liberals and consevatives, but the absolutism seems to mostly be conservative. Why is that?

As soon as I realised I'd lost it, I emailed my sister and she rang it. The phone was answered, and the person on the other end said they'd return it to the supermarket they'd found it in(IOW where I dropped it) the next day. He said he hadn't contacted anyone because he couldn't find a contact labelled 'home', although I do have an ICE number. That was on Thursday, and it still hadn't been returned this afternoon(Sunday).I'm thinking it may not be. Details were not exchanged, as it was very late at night, so I have no idea who this person is. I've had the phone blocked(It's on contract), so I can't ring it up and hope for an answer.

If the person who answered it never intended to return my property, is it theft? Does 'finders-keepers' apply within the law, and for property that can be easily traced to its owner?

I can see it wouldn't be if it was cash or something unidentifiable, but as a phone has its owner's ID stamped all over it, are the rules different?

I made a bet with my boyfriend. He says that women may go topless in public anywhere that men are allowed to go without a shirt.

If I win, he has volunteer to pose nude for an art school. If I lose, then I have to spend two hours topless with him in Central Park next time we go to NY.

If you've answered "Yes!" to either of these questions then: 1 - Congratulations!, 2 - You qualify as a member of that group that wants us to think that they are liberal, and 3 - Good luck - you weak sisters are gonna need it!
