An excellent question. If a person states that they believe abortion is murder then they are asking A LOT when they say "The Lord will understand in MY case." Personally I support the right to choose. I don't think abortion is a great thing, but it is up to the individual to determine what is right. That having been said, hypocrisy is hypocrisy. A person who says that the Lord will understand for me, but not for you is a hypocrite and for THAT (if nothing else) may have some explaining to do to the Lord.

I will be dealing with that through my blog, and hope you will open your pre-concepts and venture there. God has the ultimate POWER to separate ANYTHING that needs to be separated, just like YOU . Natural or worldly people WISH they could have this POWER just like SATAN did (does). The fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom, but the fear of the Lord is more pronounced in believers. The bible says even the devils fear and tremble, so what does that tell you about the so called atheists? ALL believe in God, but materialism blinds them by the deceitfulness of sin (disobedience ).

It is part of the process of being a "sinner" and a "repenter". And this is a dangerous way to dance! We are not to make mistakes intentionally just because we know that God is good enough to us to forgive us when we repent. A real Christian will do their very best not to sin against God! Forgiveness is a wonderfull thing! But we should not abuse it!

First of all, your quote was a SENTENCE or STATEMENT--not a term. Also, have you heard Christians say this? Also, Christians sin all of the time. Godliness is something you may strive for, but never achieve in this incarnation.

Real Christians don't put themselves in position to need or want an abortion. They don't get pregnant when they don't want a baby. It requires a woman keeping her legs crossed and a man keeping his zipper zipped.
BTW, when you vote for a liberal you are endorsing his politics, whatever they are. Liberal Christian is an oxymoron. If you are a liberal, you favor abortion, and anything else they choose to pump out. Your vote counts for what you believe.

Shortbus, I've never heard a Christian say that. Where have you heard a Christian say "I'm sure the Lord will understand" about an abortion? Your questions and answers are dishonest fabrications--always.

Christians should NOT be having abortions anyway! Why do you think there are so many Christian pro-life groups?

They know in their hearts what is wrong so they have to rationalize. Nobody is perfect, no not one. God does forgive but sometimes this rationalization is the person attempting to "control" God and his will. Something we are all guilty of at one time or another.
