I am not a kill em all gung ho kind of guy but as I recall the last 2 wars where we won big time and changed the face and course of mankind were World War I and II. Then Korea, Vitnam, and now Iraq with no win situations what gives?

Since we are there could we not fight a war like we had in the past to win.

I know civilian casualties and war atrocities are things to avoid but this is a war right?

I personally would like to see all service persons come home or even better to never have gone but since we are there now why not fight like we mean it and win?

The House and Senate have both passed resolutions providing funding for the department of defense, however, they have tied so many other issues into it that it would be hard for anyone to agree with it in it's entirety. Between non related social issues and pork barrel projects that have absolutely nothing to do with the funding of DOD or the action in Iraq and Afghanistan, the parts of HR-1591 that I read made me think that all of our legislators have adult attention deficit disorder. Can we ask our legislators to write bills that deal with one (or at least only related) issue at a time?

In late 1970 a man living in a house in California left a pail containing some marajana particles on his porch. The police (who were suspicious) grabbed the pail and checked it out. They found the particles of marajuana. The homeowner argued that they had no right to take the pail from his porch without a court order. The case went to the Supreme Court. They ruled that the man was correct. They only way they could take the pail was if he left it near the curb, thus saying he was giving up ownership of the contents. The court ruling established that the contents of a bin (located at a place where you could drive a car up to it) were free to anyone who wanted those contents. Can anyone locate an article on the web about this topic. The situation arose again in 1990 (approx) when Revlon allowed another cosmetic company to be second source of one of their products. Believing the 2nd company was cheating, they sent people to examine the bin of the 2nd company. The same issues arose.

We can all agree that most problems in America today such as the debt and some of the terrorism are a result of the Clinton administration, but why does America continue to support this rapist and his lesbianic wife?

They have never served, know little to nothing about the military, yet they post all of these ridiculous questions, and then call the people who answer them liars.

Why do they pollute the military pages? We need to get a hippies page added so they can trade their propaganda and waste their own time rather than the people who really want legit answers.

zztopn. You say that I am a faux vet? Give me your email so I can send you pictures of my smiling face as I crouch over dead bodies. Or, we can meet up and I can show you my scars after I give you some of your own. Let me know.

Before you go saying that one person who's full name escapes you on MSNBC is hate-filled, brain washed, etc. you MIGHT want to think twice of sounding like Bill O'Reilly, a man that constantly uses the Whole Don Imus/MSNBC thing to conceal(however failingly) the fact that Fox REALLY IS a "hate-filled,brainwashing" propaganda machine.

They at FOX MUST call itself "fair and balanced" because it so obvioulsy not.Duh.

It was rainy and mucky outside, I couldn't see the lines and the cars were parked farther down as well. I just parked where the other cars were lined up and didn't think about it, and ran to get out of the rain. I guess I did park in two meters. It says I parked in a prohibited place ( 2 meters - 20R05 & 20R05) WOuldn't those be the same meters? ha! Do I have to pay it or should I contest?

I read this today on Yahoo- one general (former Marine) said "They don't know where they're going in Iraq. Why go there to get an ulcer and then leave". The other two would not comment.

One of the roles would be to "issue commands" to the pentagon. That's what Rumsfeld was doing. Isn't that what Gates should be doing?

And what about Mr. Bush being the "decider" himself? Why is he taking his hand off the wheel now? Is he distancing himself or seeking help? Doesn't he have enough help?

No Comprende

I live in Indiana, but recently got a speeding ticket in Ohio. I have the address to send my payment, but I am gonna be about a week late in doing so. I'm assuming they might suspend my license until it is paid, but once they receive payment I will be reinstated. Is this true? Is there anything else I should know about? I am not familiar with Ohio laws.

The USS Iowa and the USS Wisconsin served thier efforts very well into the persian gulf war. They could be remodified for today's Navy. Though we will have to Upgrade thier: radar, Anti-Aircraft, Anti Ship, and etc. but if we do make the upgrade there will have to be a goal that it must be able to perform. it must be able to shoot within a 63 nautical mile radius. the current it ca shoot is within a 24 mile nautical mile radius. we would have to make a great upgrader to thier mark 7 main guns for the weapon to shoot that far. and if it were capable of this, the whole concept of Battleship Vs. Airforce will be greatly looked at with that we have tested her sea worthess back when Tyhpon Cobra hit them, when Typhon cobra hit them, they lost 3 destroyers, planes in the aircrafts hangers fell out into the ocean, and the USS Wisconsin only reported two injuries on her deck. and rest of the fleet there suffered 790 casualties total, and 80 injured. So I think she's seaworthy/strong enough.

The art of moving and shaping nature in order to constuct a better place for mankind. Such as: a city wanted to build itself with its local river in mind, and decided to carve water canals in a twisting meandering way throughout its residents and businesses locations. The city was beautiful and everyone had access to crystal clear water canals. Such as: a large circumference tube was raised higher and higher into the atmosphere with a horizontal opening at the top which could catch the earth's jet stream air current and channel the air to earth where it was used for wind turbines and for the substution of fossil fuels in that it could be used to transport people and items, such as todays bank-teller tubes but on a much larger scale. Such as: Mountains were scooped up and placed into the deserts so that the rainclouds could therefore go to the desert area, since before they had been blocked by the mountain ranges. Thereby turning the deserts into farmland

She is a convicted sex killer
She participated in the rape and mirder of her sister
She participated in the torture and murder of 2 school girls.

Her husband Paul is never getting out

She got 12 years in a deal with the Crown to put Paul away before they figured out how involved she was believing I think that a woman couldn't have done this .

The police bungled the investigation - Several forces failed to cooperate at all over it and numerous mistakes were made (kind of makes me wish we had a US style of the FBI takes over in certain cases involving sex crimes)

She got a University degree while in jail ( tax payers)

Now she lives in Quebec with a husband and a child of her own

She claims she has the right to be left alone she served her time and so forth

Does she ?

Just because the Crown screwed up and made a deal does she have the right to be left alone as a "normal" citizen of the country ?
