To raise and support armies, but no appropriation of money to that use shall be for a longer term than two years;

To provide and maintain a navy;

To make rules for the government and regulation of the land and naval forces;

To provide for calling forth the militia to execute the laws of the union, suppress insurrections and repel invasions;

Are you asking should Congress cut off funding for our troops? I think the answer to that question has to be of course not. Remember, no one serving over in Iraq asked to be there. The very least their country should do is keep them armed and fed while they are doing their duty.

Now if you are asking if Congress should pass a bill with some real teeth it in that holds the President accountable for answering to us about the progress that is or is not being made in Iraq, then I think the answer is yes.

We can not stay in Iraq forever. However, we can not leave without some sort of solution for those people over there. Everyone in the world deserves to live in a free nation, to vote, to have the same rights we have here in America. Imagine the terror of what is going on in Iraq happening here in our own country. Remember the terror of 9-11, I don't want to go through that again, do you? Of course not!

I hope our Congress and our President both have the wisdom to do what is right in this situation and that our troops finish the job and all come home safe.

True. Today's political elite do not follow the Constitution. As for the War in Iraq, Congress did vote to support it. Public Law No: 107-243.

Continue the war. We are doing the right thing. Should congress end drinking because there were over 16,000 DUI deaths in 2005. That is one year, the war is 4. DUI estimated cost were 51 billion too. Sounds like the war isn't that big of a problem. When are troops are voluntarily going over there to denfend our country. While someone who is hit by a drunk driver didn't sign up for that.

Except the President commands the armed forces. He can send them where he so desires.

But I'm with you, I think congress should end the war and bring our troops home from Bosnia. It's time to end Clinton's Viet Nam!

What war? The war against al-Qaida in Afghanistan should continue until they're destroyed and bin-laden is dead. The occupation in Iraq should end as quickly as possible.

No, they should give our military the money they need & OK the troop surge - so our troops can go home w/ a sense of completion of a job well done.

either end it or send 300,000 troops to finish it , occupation is obviously not working but congress doesn't have the balls because they might lose some votes in 08
