Bush is not an idiot, except when he wears his Freudian slip.
Some new ones:
"The solution to Iraq -- an Iraq that can govern itself, sustain itself and defend itself -- is more than a military mission. Precisely the reason why I sent more troops into Baghdad." -- April 3, 2007
"I'm a strong proponent of the restoration of the wetlands, for a lot of reasons. There's a practical reason, though, when it comes to hurricanes: The stronger the wetlands, the more likely the damage of the hurricane." --March 1, 2007
And a couple of oldies but goodies:
"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we." -- Aug. 5, 2004
"Iraqis are sick of foreign people coming in their country and trying to destabilize their country." --George W. Bush, interview with Al Arabiya Television, May 5, 2004

Bush is an idiot is why no one pays his mumble fumbles any attention. Imus' is a smart person (most of the time) and the fact that the Pro-Racism activist Al Sharpton ot involved, have made this WAY more of an issue than it should be. Listen to some rap music than tell me how blacks can raise an outcry against the use of the word ho.

What kind of comparison are you making ? Imus insulted a woman's basketball team, calling them whores.
Bush pronounces nuclear noo-ku-lar . Big deal. And you don't see any difference. No I don't believe Bush is an idiot, my vote goes to you on that.

No, I have trouble speaking as well. It doesn't make me an idiot. Speaking clearly is not indicative of intelligence. Some of the smartest people have been socially backward or tongue tied.
Imus said something that could be construed as racist. It doesn't make him racist, just capable of an indiscretion like the rest of us. I don't like Imus, I am just saying...

If you don't understand why Imus' comments are reprehensible, then you are being purposely dense.
No one can reasonably defend Bush's lack of erudition.

Well, Imus was an idiot, I don't think he should have to resign though, I think he has sweated and grovelled enough. Now, what will it take Bush to grovel? He is a freakin' embarrasment

Yeah, but Imus has been saying that crap for decades. We've only had to listen to Bush for 6 years so far.
