I love this guy. He's a former POW and a hero. Being a veteran I totally respect him.

But currently he's taken the stance that Iraq is safer now since the surge? That he could walk down town alone without a problem?

Then he takes a fully armed platoon of soldiers. two black hawks and two gunships to go shopping in Bagdad? And he's wearing a bullet proof vest?

I know a politician needs some protection, but it totally ruins his position to use all the troops to go shopping.

I just hate to see him look so bad.

The fact is Iraq is on pace to totally shatter all records of deaths on both sides with this surge. That doesn't sound like its better does it?

Is McCain losing it?

There's no way to deny it. We all know he lied when he said he fired the attorneys for "performance reasons". The records prove that what our Attorney General said is not the case.

He hasn't been able to come up with anymore BS excuses, has he?

Since he is such a lying scumbag who can no longer defend himself, why does Bush continue to support that fool instead of firing him?

(If only our president didn't embrace corruption...)

History will judge Pres GW Bush as one of the greatest presidents in history- He had the courage to go after our enemies, rather than wait for them to attack us. He brought freedom to Iraq. He deposed saddam Hussein, a tyrant that was on the level of Hitler or Stalin. Rather than support Pres Bush and the troops. liberals undermine him and the troops at every opportunity. Why do liberals hate GW Bush much?
Like children, liberals engage in projection-They accuse the right of having their own negative traits. Clinton was a liar so libs call Bush a liar. Clinton was a draft dodger, so the call Bush a draft dodger. Clinton did nothing to stop Osma Bin laden, so liberals claim Bush did nothing to stop Osma bin laden. Clinton was fiscally irresponsible,so they accuse Bush of being fiscal irresponsibile.Liberals are communists- they hate capitalism- Could their hatred of Pres bush be anger over Clinton's justified impeachment- or could it be somthing as simple as liberals hating freedom?

Aren't the poor and down-trodden deserving of government assistance in bettering their lives? Its obviously impossible for someone to work their way up from a minimum wage job to one thats higher paying since community college costs hundreds of thousands of dollars. This deters people from attempting to educate themselves. We need more blame placed on rich CEO's for the plight of the poor and the government to force them to pay 100 dollars per hour to level the playing field. Its not like CEO's worked hard to get there. The guy who dropped out of high school, smoked weed, cranked out 4 kids he couldn't afford who hangs drywall all week is just as important to society at the doctors and lawyers out there. We need more laws to stick it to the rich and educated who run businesses and provide jobs to make the world fair again. Am I right? Think of the children people!

Wait a minute, that makes no sense. Isn't the whole point of being a liberal is you pursue the dream of liberty? In that case, liberty must hate liberty.

Do you mean American liberty? That's not the same as European liberty, which created the idea in the first place - and people in Europe have the liberty to housing, food, employment, clean water, proper education, as well as the liberty to speak what they feel. And God knows they do, but aren't they lambasted for doing so.

So why do people say Liberals hate freedom? When that is clearly what they are fighting for?

Results came out today, ranking cities in the world as the best places to live. Sadly, the United States did not fare well, with the best city in the US to live as being in Hawaii...and even it was 27th on the list.

This is not an exercise is bashing the US...I am genuinely interested in knowing opinions as to why the US is becoming less and less 'the place to live'...

This question has been asked before, but some time ago, and things have not got any better have they ? I would be interested in your own personal opinion-well let`s face it-we can`t believe anything we read in the newspapers can we ? Do you think america will declare war on iran or strike them at some point in the near future ? I only want serious answers please - war is no laughing matter - i think we all saw that with what happened in iraq. It really worries me - i`m in the uk and tony blair seems to think he has to go along with whatever america decides, for some strange reason. What do you think ?

Anyone noticed how much useless information and junk there is on the roads, stuck on a steel pole, cemented into the footpaths? Why do we need all this rubbish and why is some company making a mint out of all this stuff which is nothing but a waste of council tax money. Why can't we just have tidy and clear footpaths and roads?

This deals with having put the Bible in a computer matrix that comes up with words formed from the letters in all angles: sideways, backwards, downwards, left and rigt angles.

It came up with the words; Bin Ladden, attack, twin towers, and airplane. Could the Jews have seen this and used it by finding some one named Bin Ladden, to then saying he did it, and that it was even prophezied?

It also came up with the words; Hussan, hated, destroyed; could that be why Iraq was targeted to be stuck?

I would like to know what else it came up with just in case it's what they plan to do next. Do you think they may be using this code II as guide lines for a plan to take over the Middle East?

Is this code prophecy, or di I have a clearer vision then most? Prophecey can come from writting or reading something and then making it happen.

Lets face it, something is up here; because, you can make a matrix pretty much out of any book and come out with these same words.

to create a prescription drug bill that favored the industry (resulting in millions in extra profits) and who then take on jobs as big pharma lobbyists themselves with jobs paying as much as 2 million per year?

I certainly think so and that's what the GOP did in 2003. I recently saw a story on this. When the bill passed, the House Republican from Lousiania who led the bill read out a list of people he wanted to thank for helping him create the bill. Every single person he mentioned is now working for the drug industry as advisors or lobbyists.

(CBS) If you have ever wondered why the cost of prescription drugs in the United States are the highest in the world or why it's illegal to import cheaper drugs from Canada or Mexico, you need look no further than the pharmaceutical lobby and its influence in Washington, D.C.
