It is doubtful that Iraq will ever be stable with US troops there, and it is positive that Iraq will not be stable if we leave.
Go figure.

and as the alternative wouldve been saddam gassing his own people and ethinicly cleansing the kurds from the face of the earth, perhaps you can tell me what type of stability was indicated before the us presence. and considering that the pelosi/reid regime answer to open un defiance by saddam wouldve been cut, run and put your head in the sand, perhaps you might care to elaborate on how that was stable. the bottom line is when most people form an opinion they research it and usually incorporate facts...but respecting the miami dade slant on reality on this one you legitmately need a ...do over.

Bush has already said that the troops will not leave Iraq as long as he is president. I think that was pretty clear. That is why he is fighting these rather reasonable withdrawal dates in the supplemental funding bill. Iraqis have to work out their problems. If we leave there will be one less problem to deal with.
