They are qualified. Under the Constitution one must be 35 years of age and born in the United States. They meet that criteria.

They are very qualified, at least compared to the current President and Vice President.

They definitely have my vote.

Actually I think that should be the next job for Bush and Cheney, since they think they have so many good ideas about how Iraq should be run and what kind of government they should have. And since they don't have a constitution really yet, Bush & Cheney wouldn't have to devote all their time to destroying it!

it doesn't matter, if the Democrats wants to win an election and i believe this should be the easiest election for them to win seeing how much the Republicans let bush @$&* up our county, but having a black man and a woman is stupid, i'm not racist or sexist, but a hell of a lot of people are and by having either one of them in the election will hinder their sure victory of the presidency.

For better or worse (apparently worse, where you're concerned), the judgement of qualification is made by YOU, the voter, and every other American who cares to vote. You don't think they're qualified? OK, don't vote for them.

Ta da! See how democracy works?

If they're not qualified to run in the US, then Bush assuredly wasn't.

It would be nice if they were required to be qualified, but (for good reason -- how would one decide?) that is not the way it is done here.
