If it's a first offence the judge may give you a few days to come up with the money, but then again he or she may not. It's not a federal offence, so I would say that the judge will give you a little time to pay it, but in the future I would make sure to have some cash on me. You just never know what kind of a mood the judge is going to be in and when he or she may just decide to let you sit in jail and pay that ticket. Good luck.

You are lucky that you got caught walking, not driving.go to the court.you might be eligible for a less harsh treatment by the Honorable Judge.they usually give you some time to pay off your ticket.may be,you wont have to pay for your ticket depending on what court decides on your case.may be you get some community service or they may just give you break.
but try to sort things out soon.you will be on the right track.good luck

when u go to court they will just find u guilty and give u a fine , u can work out a payment arragment with them where u agree to pay whatever amount of money every week or month and then u just pay it off that way , but if don't pay it then u will get a Warrent out for your arrest , and yeah they will arrest u for something as stupid as not paying a fine they are very money hungry , so just work out a payment arrangement and pay it off.

I hate to point this out, but aren't you supposed to be 21 to drink? I believe that was under age consumption, too. You seem to have failed to mention that part.
IF this is your first "ticket", then dress up in conservative clothes, nice shoes, and look like somebody. Take your parents with you and try to convince the judge that stupidity won over that one time. Stand up straight, look the judge in eye, and answer with yes sir, no sir and accept what you did.

ask for payment arrangements. And pay something every month. At 19 I am sure you are working at least part time and those kinds of fines aren't usually that high.

Usually that can be worked out with the judge.....most of the time he will ask how long it will take you to pay it off.....When I had my fine I asked for six months and that was fine.....usually it will depend on the amount and offense....

Explain your financial "situation" to the judge or clerk- & I'm sure they'll work out a payment plan for you. I doubt the fine will be much...-but it'll be enough to remind you not to make the same mistake again. :)
