I would like to change my name when I become a US citizen. What is involved? How long does this take? Does it prolong the naturalization process? Any complications? Has anyone done this and can give me any advice?

I am currently a Polish citizen. Do I have to change my name there too? or can I use my old EU passport when I travel to EU?

Any advice is appreciated. TIme is of the essence. Thanks!

I have a friend who says that the police came to his house and asked to come inside and look for a stolen television. He claims that he said "No." and shut the door.

I have established that if you want to be a pilot, or more specifically, a fighter pilot, you have to be an air force officer. I checked on "www.airforce.com" and it seems to imply that you have to be a college graduate in order to persue becoming an officer. I am 19, will be 20 in october, I have no college experience, what exaclty do I need to do or start doing in order to get on track to becoming a pilot in the air force?

I got arrestted for breaking someones side-view mirror on their car. I will be going to court in a week or two and wanna know if there's some other punishments that I can take instead of paying $200-$300 for a replacement side-view mirror? My ASFAB test were impecible! I qualified for every job available in any branch of service. I GREATLY respect the U.S. Marines!!! However, I think I would "fit in" better in branch like the USAF or the Navy. I have plenty of college behind me, but I respect the service so much I want to join; I just don't know which branch to join. Somebody please help me!!!!!!!!!!!

I dunno when this happened, but now it seems to be patriotic, you just have to agree with your leaders sentiment and hope for the best. Critical thinking about a issue for yourself leads you to be labled unpatriotic.

I heard a old saying the gist was this: Patriotism - The idea that my country is better then yours simply because i was born in it.

The Communist Government in West Bengal has been enaged into criminal and fascist activities and won elections and will win forever by use of muscle forces.

There are so many atrocities that we can only be compared with bonded India. From Sai Bari, Ananda Margi, Keshpur, Potaspur, Angaria, Nandigram, Singur, there is no end. We cannot tolerte Nilkar type atrocity in Bengal. We need to ban this party.

I was paid a certain amt. for 8 hrs. of wk., but now my employer has determined our wk. day to be 8 1/2 hrs.
& is paying me the same amt. This makes my hrly. rate less. Is this legal in Texas? I work 34 hrs. per wk. now (instead of 32) for the same amt. of money. Please help.

and at this time we are in the middle of the immigration prosess, she is mexican living in mexico, i'm an american citizen in the USA, i know very well that after all the money and documents have been processed and possibly a 2 year wait later, the people at INS are going to bar my wife for 10 years from coming back to our home, the problem came from the INS not helping us 6 years ago in mexico when i lost my job their, its a long story''''''bottom line is i can't move their or any where else because of the job i have now, plus my mom and dad are getting older and they will need me here to help them , my wife is trapped in mexico with not many choices, and the money drain as well as the strain on or marrage is far to much on both of us, we have a very good marrage ,and i would just like to know what is it that the INS thinks is fair for people like me to do, taking away 10 years of a persons life is to much for one small mistake, they are bad humans, tell me what should we do.
