I got hit by a car in a parking lot. I didn't brake any bones, but my neck and back are bothering and I've been thinking of getting legal help to request compensation for personal injury.
Does anyone know how long the process usually takes and how much can I ask for?

my ex-husband usually doesnt really participate in our childrens lives unless he wants something or his family tells him too. he has recently asked if he can have his mother drive our daughters half way to his house and have his girlfriend pick them up and drive then the rest of the way. he wants to do this because his father is coming up to visit him and he has never met our girls. his father is not a very safe person and did things that he shouldnt have while on meds like drink and smoke pot while he was visiting when his son and i got married. my ex told me that his father has been sober for the last 5 years which i know is a lie. my ex and his girlfriend went out and were drinking recently and they were in a really bad car accident where she received spinal injuries. she was driving and i know she was givin a rather large fine that she is unable to pay. since she is the one driving can i find out if her lisence is valid and if so how

They are playing a dangerous game. If those were American soldiers Iran was holding, we'd be really angry, and, likely, preparing for an attack. Are the British ready to go to war with Iran? If they go, no doubt we'll go too.

ok a while back a go this guy came to my door and said that i had hit his car because the marks on my burban and his car match up. me knowing that there has been posibility that it could have been cuz the guy always parked right in front of my drive way across the street and the suburban have a wide turn radias that is the chance that i can get close. so with there be a posibility i desided to work with the guy. he gave me an estamate from the body place and i thought was to much and not worth it so he told me to give him some places to go but he didnt like my ideas and he was set with what he came up with. me being a kid in high school and only having a part time job i would be able to do any thing. at first my father didnt want it to go to insurance but the guy got inpatient and wanted the insurance to take care of it. but the insurance company declined him and he wants some thing done and i told him no. so now he wants to take me to court what do i do

Nominate candidates for the Presidential election which are totally unelectable? Thus giving Republicans the win?

I think a moderate Democrat might walk away with the White House, but I'm not sure about Hillary (only because she's a she) Obama (only because he's Black), If Al Baby runs, oh my!, or Dean whom I think is unbelievable. Kerry's worst fault is his wife...perhaps if he'd drown her in catsup he might win.

I like Hillary of the above group, but I liked Bill too and voted for him the SECOND time. Best show on television was the Bill and Hillary Hours.

In other words, I think all the Demos better be thoughtful, or you might have Jeb come asneakin' in there.

The argument is that drugs are bad for society as a whole, therefore they should remain ilegal; almost like a public safeguard. On the other hand, some people feel that drugs should be legalized for the so called "free rights of the public." In addition to that, people think that the money being used to get rid of drug cartels etc. would have better use elsewhere... of course the people who use them want to use them 'freely' too so they're for it.... What do you think and why?

stay a little longer in Iraq, leave soon, or stay until 'the job is done', what do you think they would decide? If anyone of you are soliders, please answer this and give me your reasoning.

I'm asking this because I've seen reports on various channels that have shown some soliders in Iraq being interviewed by American reporters and it looked like 50% think they should leave son & let Iraq deal with their own issues and the other 50% say that they should stay another year or two so they can make sure the Iraqi military is ready to be on their own. I would personally like to have all the soliders vote and see what the results are and have it handed to Congress.

Now for this question specifically, I am going to concentrate on the 15 Brits, allies of the US, and in my words, brother in arms, were kidnapped by Iran. Think about it! Were not stupid enough to go into Iranian waters for no good reason. Second what the hell would a boat coming out of Iran be in Iraqi waters for? Lastly why would a boat coming out of Iranian waters and then invading Iraqi water; be followed by Iranian gun boats? You think something might have been on the boat that they didn't want anyone to find out about? You think it is a coincidence that they were in the same area at the same time the Brit's were. I think we should capture 30 of their boy's and then do a prisoner exchange. Now I am sure a DemoCRAP is going to disagree, and that's fine, I guess; but it is something to expect from them with their policy of appeasement. I would like to hear from you people no matter what you may think.

Seems the democrats had to offer incentives to get votes for the military budget. It's nice to see that our troops are worth shrimp and spinach.
What's next?.....ignore the veto so they can say they voted to fund the war and Bush vetoed it....seems that way.
What did you expect from DEMOCRAPS?

I spent 3 months in Iraq, and got a medical discharge for lower leg stress fractures and mental illness. The military lost my 201 file, that had X-rays, doctors notes, ect in it, and now the VA says there is no record. Also, i got in some juvenile trouble and had to see a counselor years ago, and i didnt talk to her, so she said i was depressed. Somehow they dug this crap up and say my mental illness was preexisting, but I was never diagnosed with what they said I had before the Army. Why does the VA insist on screwing veterans? I have appealed three times, and even had my Rep write them, with no avail. Also, my DD-214 doesn't list my combat medic badge, how can I fix that?

I bought a white silk parachute from an estate auction that was with a bunch of German swastika flags and guns with swastikas on them. Does anyone know anything about this white silk parachute or where I can find information about it? No tags or identifying marks on it.

I received this in my Yahoo mail. Thing is I have dealt a great deal with BMW. I have given them information. Yes I know that this is a hoax but was just wondering what everyone in this community makes of it. Well here is the message.

BMW Lottery Program------You are the Winner of a BMW Series M Sport.

I was just wondering how many others also received this "exclusive" prize?

I'm going to college to be a Registered Nurse. Before you can even get into the nursing program, you have to finish like 8 or 9 prereq classes, then you submit your grades and wait to get accepted into the program. All the people with good grades get accepted first and they don't accept a lot of students at once. Sometimes it takes 2 to 3 years to even get into the Associates Degree in Registered Nursing program. I was told that in the Army you can become a nurse in 52 weeks. Should I join the Army or should I stay where I'm at? I think the Army would be better and quicker. I've thought about joining but I'm not sure. Any help I could get would be great.

I just went to a local convenice store with my boyfriend where he purchased some alcohol. Apparently there was a prison guard in a truck near me and thought it was kind of odd that i pulled around to the side so he called the cops ( i found this out just after from a friend who works at the store) anyways a little while down the road I got pulled over. Chris is 21 and was carded, the alchol wasnt for me but im not 21 yet so i almost got arrested for transportation. Anyways i didnt because Chris said i didnt realise what he bought....but he was arrested for a warrent he already had out. I didnt give them any reason to pull me over....is just the prison guard calling enough probable cause to pull me over alone?

My boyfriend was in a rush to get to work, and so he parked in a handicap area, and put up his old handicap sign on his mirror...(he has surgery 2 years ago, and he changed the date on the sign and put it up on his rear view mirror) well, when he got out of work, he saw a ticket on his window that said "Alterted handicap ticket" i guess the cop recognized that he had changed it. how serious is this offense? he will have to go to court, but is there any serious punishment that he could face? the past year he has been on probabtion due to a ticket he had gotten, and instead of putting points on his record, the judge told him that he is on probabtion for one year, and during that one year he is not allowed to get any ticket...so with this handicap sign issue, he broke his probabtion...so OVERALL story, what is he looking at, and how serious is it? I would really appreciate any real help, I am a little worried about him.. thank you.
