Nominate candidates for the Presidential election which are totally unelectable? Thus giving Republicans the win?

I think a moderate Democrat might walk away with the White House, but I'm not sure about Hillary (only because she's a she) Obama (only because he's Black), If Al Baby runs, oh my!, or Dean whom I think is unbelievable. Kerry's worst fault is his wife...perhaps if he'd drown her in catsup he might win.

I like Hillary of the above group, but I liked Bill too and voted for him the SECOND time. Best show on television was the Bill and Hillary Hours.

In other words, I think all the Demos better be thoughtful, or you might have Jeb come asneakin' in there.

It certainly wasn't my intention to push sexism, or racism about Obama and Hillary. I think it is a manner of fact, that for a healthy percentage, these are going to be issues but will never be discussed in public or "in polite society".
Many times the best person for the job doesn't get it; they just aren't electable. It is obvious to most, but to mention reasons why is not PC.
Lots of thoughtful answers happening, Many even answer without being obviously one party or the other. That is a good thing, to think of the issue, not the party, and this issue to the electability of particular people.

I would love to see the Dems self destruct so that they will realize they have been taken over by the loony far left, screamin Howard Dean, Al Franken, Nancy Pelosi... and Michael Moore, who do NOT represent middle class Americans.

Republican Senator Chuck Hagel practically told Bush that he would vote to impeach him if Bush doesn't start listening to the will of the people. Apparently the Republicans aren't very united at this point either.
I think the Democrats should look at the last two elections and realize that, in each of those elections, they had a candidate on their Presidential ticket who couldn't carry his own state. Gore didn't carry Tennessee and Edwards didn't carry S. Carolina. Had those two candidates carried their own states, the Democrats would have been occupying the White House.

You are being concerned over trivia at this point in time--- the Democrats will--as all political parties have always done in times of the "run up to the nominations"--- divide on several fronts and battle out for the central ground--- this is a very healthy thing -- for it shakes out all the edges of the platform and makes each and every candidate "fend" for their position ON the mainstays OF the final platform and agenda !! But, once the choices are made as to who the final ticket will consist of and the final program of platform is settled on in full--- watch the party come together THIS TIME like no other time in recent history !! They have every reason to be very optimistic for a major victory-- for people have seen the Republican disolutions to the point of nausea and at large folks are ready to see some sanity returned to the focus of the future !!!

Both parties are divided at this point. I think it's still too early to pick a candidate. I am conservative and none of the candidates who have declared they are running are my first choice. None of them are conservative enough. BTW: Hillary wouldn't win because she is a mean, screaming witch who doesn't really know what her policies would be, she changes with the speaking venue. It has nothing to do with her gender. Obama wouldn't win because he is too inexperienced, relatively unknown and too far left.

Well, the problem with your analysis is that Dems don't traditionally think in the bigoted ways which you are profiling. When I see Hillary and Obama, I see the issues/stances as opposed to their race/sex/"or how their name rhymes w/ Osama". I didn't know Kerry is running...but Edwards is. And, I highly doubt that another Bush will be in office for a lonnnng time, at least that is what I pray.

First of all Jeb is not running.... he has not raised one dime, and anybody Clinton/Bush alike would of had to.

Second of all... Since the Dem's did such a great job picking their Presidential hopefuls, it will probably be a very moderate republican. A good republican, the way my party used to be, not the way my party has been.

Unfortunately two elections of supporting Bubba and then two of supporting Jeb.

I want a Democrat in office so bad I can taste it. Problem is they are so strung to the left and kissing every mommy's butt in a tree with a camera up her *** they forgot about the poor BASTARDS in IRAQ that BELIEVE in their mission enough to reup and go back. I want this war taken to the enemy not to sit here at home trying to keep them from attacting us, **** that will never work/

I can already see that I'm going to end up taking yet another barf bag to the polls so I can puck my guts out after voting for another Republican.

After Hillary and Obama tear each other apart, the only one left will be Al Gore. Rudy will be taking the oath of office in 2009.

Dems do not have anyone as of this time that qualifies for this position. As for as John Kerry, it was his own MOUTH, that got him, his lies. He is even shun by other Dems. As for as Obama, he is already pulling the race card, Al Gore is a idiot, Dean is a joke.
Clinton's "loathing the military" comment was an insult to all American veterans from the Revolution to Vietnam and beyond. veterans gave up far too much during service to our country and our people to have it impugned by a lying draft dodger like Bill Clinton.

Over the eight years of his presidency, Bill Clinton's actions not merely reinforced this insight but revealed far worse. His dishonesty is but one of the defenses of his deep-seated psychopathy which manifests itself in his wide-ranging abuse of women, his callous disregard for the trust and loyalty of his subordinates and supporters, his wanton contempt for justice and the rule of law, his demonization of his political opponents, his hypocritical use of "the politics of personal destruction" against his perceived enemies, his abject inability to accept genuine responsibility for the consequences of his actions, his corruption of both civic culture and political discourse, and on and on.

He isn't simply an inveterate liar; Bill Clinton is evil incarnate.

Clinton's both are nothing but a fundamentally dishonest, wholly loathsome couple who can never be trusted on any matter, unless if serves of their own selfish interests.

We would be a fool to put the Clinton's back in the White House.
