Those seven brave young men and women deserve at least a personal handshake and a "Thank You", which I would happily supply.

The same thing I say to everyone in the military: God Bless You!
Why? Should my answer be different for people who didn't vote for the "Decider"? Should I care more about them? Less? What are you REALLY trying to say? Speak up.

I'd like to say to every member of our Armed Forces, not just the liberal ones, thank you so much for your honorable and heroic service to our country. We hold you in the highest esteem, wish you safe return and keep you in our hearts, minds, and prayers.

Thank you for your service and sacrifice; unlike Pres. Bush, VP(?) Cheney, Paul Wolfowitz, Karl Rove, the former Sec. of Defense et.al., none of whom displayed the courage of their convictions when they had the chance. At least Colin Powell served...and where did he go?
Are you reading this, Mr. Cheney?

Since we have a totally voluntary Military, not much...other than don't forget to vote...you can vote with an absentee ballot anywhere you stationed outside the US.

I'm sorry. I'm sorry you are ordered not to speak up. I'm sorry you have to put your life on the line for something you don't believe in.
Mostly - I'm sorry.
Yes we have a voluntary military - but the forces don't get to say - oh - sorry - don't believe in this cause - please let me hang back and not serve this time around. The whole "this is what they signed up for" argument really irritates me. They signed up to serve our country - they didn't sign up to fulfill Bush's power trip - they didn't sign up to make sure there was gas to fill up giant SUV's.
