I recently got a ticket but i don't know what this code means. The officer said that he had been on the "HOV" for a while and that i didn't slow down when i saw him. Can someone explain to me what HOV means. I'm possitive that I was going no more than 68mph because i had just barely gotten on the freeway and i was trying to get in the carpool lane. By the way, i live in southern california. Torrance to be exact. The officer said that i was going past 75 mph. I know this is not true because the freeway was packed but the cars on my sides were passing me. I was the one being passed and I was the one who got a ticket. Is there any way i can fight this ticket. I know i was not speeding. Please help. Thanks! Also, Does anyone know how much this ticket might cost me?

At what point is "don't blame us, it's just a radical fringe minority, I don't know where they get their ideas" not a good enough answer?

Like or dislike the website below but the attacks it describes DID happen and the people who committed them did it for Allah.

Does this bother you?

The people who are committing these assaults not only take Allah's name but they can point to his example and they can point to the Koran and Hadiths to justify their actions.

So far most of the "moderate Muslim" response has been a rather quiet "we do not like violence or stand for violence," and then a denial of any tie, philosophically or otherwise, to violence - isn't it time to say "yes, Muhammad was violent, yes, the Koran and Hadiths are violent as written, and we need to reinterpret them for modern society?"

I am a U.S citizen and I married a Jordanian in 2005. I filed the I-130 petition in Amman that year. I went through the whole interview process and to my surprise the consulate decided further review was needed, they sent our file to DHS in Athens, Greece. I heard nothing, I went back to Jordan Nov. 2006, and after several e mails and letters to them, I was contacted through e mail from DHS stating they would give me a decision soon. I was notified at my U.S. address that the petition was approved on Dec.18, 2006 and the consulate would notify my husband on getting his visa. After a month they finally sent him his info. packet 4 containg all the forms, I filled out all the forms including the affidavit of support form I-864, I returned to U.S Mar, 2007,okay my questions are,can we send the DS-2001 A.K.A the form OF-169 when all the paper work is complete and does the embassy submit our file to the NVC after the visa interview or is it there already? I appreciate any information.

Ok there is murder and manslaughter but what does this unlawfull killing mean.

The Brits say the Journalist Terry Loyd was unlawfulling killed and that their soldier was unlawfully killed by American soldiers so what does it mean and how can they find this way in the inquests and the US military say otherwise when the have their own hearings into these 2 cases.

I was wonderin if anyone knew the laws for knives in Baja California. I'm going down there for a camping trip and I was wondering if I would have any problems bringing a couple knives. They are more on my list of tools to bring down there, but I just want to make sure I don't go to jail or something for bringing a 5 1/2 in blade on a knife.

The troops need to stay in Iraq until we win- I don't care if it's another year, or another 10 years. We need to stay in Iraq until we kill all the terrorists.
Yet libs, with thier jimmy Carter spinelessness, want to give up and withdraw today. WHY????If we pull out of Iraq, the terrorists will attack us here at home. I have a theory THAT is why the liberals wasnt to withdraw troops from Iraq- They WANT America to be attacked- that way they can blame it on Pres Bush, and try to seize control of the White House.
