Bush doesn't want to get out of Iraq because Big Oil would lose control of their oil and their OPEC seat. Soldiers who volunteered to serve and protect their country are out fighting and dying so Bush cronies can become obscenely wealthy.
It is a war for oil and his oil corporation campaign contributors are making the largest profits in history because they have all sorts of excuses for pumping up the prices and Americans keep paying for it.
Remember when Bush talked about invading and he addressed remarks to the Iraqi people saying, DO NOT BLOW UP THE OIL FIELDS? Oh yes, baby! It is all about the oil.

I don't believe in the slightest that you were ever in the military. You have use degenerating remarks that are of the liberal wackos. You are a typical liberal liar cause if you were in the military you'd know that the Americans are there because they signed up for it. They aren't trapped they are there because they know it's the right thing to do. The oil thing is a moot point sense all of the oil goes to Saudi and is sold to many countries. The oil from Saudi is only 17% of what America buys which is a drop in the bucket.
Get your facts straight Libby.

Ouch. That is high. I can still find it for $2.40.
It's ridiculous. But who I really feel sorry for; my daughters' boyfriend. He's already served one tour in Iraq. He doesn't talk about it a lot, nothing bad or otherwise. He's just very anxious as he awaits word if/when he'll be going back. He's only 23, he's drinking like a fish, he's losing sleep and weight. He doesn't want to talk about it, but we are afraid for him

gas is going up as summer blend pricing is going into use. A small price we pay to help keep global warming down. see .40-.50 a gallon there.
Don't bet the farm on $6 gas in a year.

Talk about uneducated!! There is no civil war in Iraq, at least for the moment, and what does gasoline prices have to do with Bush? It's a supply and demand factor, as well as it's refining capabilities in the states and what additives are put in by each states environmental laws. Even our import from the middle east is very very small. The largest % of our imports come from Canada, Mexico, Venezuela and even Africa. I know, I'm in the business. Try educating yourself before opening your pie hole!

well in the uk its already $6.55 and i personally think its right you pay more as your in denial about the global warming issue personally i think your view is we do what we want and sod the rest they can go run up a shutter for what i care. You need to realise the importance of the effects of fuel and higher prices may make you realise, most of you americans have largs gas guzzling cars and travel short distances, you need to stop.

It is a civil war and the US Army has no reason to be there and I agree with you about the gas prices. Bush is there for the oil and to make him and his buddies a little richer. Bush has a lot of freaking blood on his hands in more ways than one!!!
