The Crusades were a horrible time in history...sad to say, I had ancestors who participated.

I am a con...I don't believe that the crusades were a good Idea..that was a time that religion was in control and people had to fight against it to survive...same way we are now fighting the Muzzie terrorists that are taking religion to a new height of violence...

I really feel you need to be more specific. If you are referring to the Catholic run Crusades during the middle ages. I feel they were a very bad idea. And are actually partly to blame for what's happening in the world today.

Its funny how people forget the Crusades where a response to muslim agression in Europe.

They wouldn't have occurred if the Muslims hadn't been to bloody war-happy and tried to conquer everybody and convert them.

I cannot judge if they were good or bad; they were a reaction to Muslim jihadist imperialism.
