WWI, which was fruitless & caused 8,500,000 deaths, brought about WW2 and the atomic bomb. Korea & Vietnam were fruitless. Now Iraq and Afganistan are also. When will mankind stop war and murder? Are we genetically unable to seek a more "humane" course for resolving conflicts amongst ourselves? Is democracy and capitalism really the right answer? Is it simply that there are now too many humans?

I was placed on TDRL in December, 2005. I am now being separated with severance pay and a 0% disability rating. I would like to rejoin and go Army Reserve. The only kicker is I have a RE4 as my reentry code. I have heard there are waivers available with RE4's from TDRL. I am trying to avoid going through the ABCMR to do this since it takes 8 to 10 months to possibly get it fixed. I have read through too many Army Regulations to count trying to find information on the matter, but just coming up with tidbits, nothing totally useful. If anyone has been in a simular situation, please let me know. Anything will be useful. Recruiters dont seem to know what the deal is, I think I am more educated on the matter than they are, so I need some specifics, well more specific than I know as of now. I have a honorable discharge and my separation code is SFK. Reason for separation is Disability, Temporary. Hope someone can help. Thank you!

A couple of months ago in a speech George Bush claimed the US went to war in Iraq because the US couldn't allow Saddam to have a weapon of economic destruction!
ie, OIL
To me that sounds like the US didn't want to trade on a level playing field so they went to war with Iraq because Iraq had more profitable assets!
Did Bush let the cat out of the bag with this statement?

In terms of getting the government to enact policies that actually represent the views and values of the majority of the American people? How would you improve it?

I'm just wondering if the Liberals realize that IF their candidate were to win the Presidency.. . . . .. .then I'd say it's damn likely that several Conservatives will Bombard these boards with stupid questions - filled with denial, in retaliation for their current stupidity ?? And no, I'm not saying anything like 'all Democrats'. . . but most of you know who and what I'm referring to !!

I really don't expect to see an 'instant enlightening' , but I believe, that after some of you give this some thought, then you'll 'get it '. Thoughtful replies welcome . Thank you .

Rudy Giuliani may have been a good Mayor, but that hardly qualifies him to be the leader of the United States. Making sure peoples garbage is picked up and cleaning graffiti off of buildings are not great feats compared to the responsibilities of the President.
Rudy has exactly zero experience in federal politics. He will be a pawn for the neo-cons just as Bush was a pawn. The real power of the Republican party does not necessarily lie with the man elected as President, as Cheney, Rove and Rumsfield proved.
Be careful how you cast your vote. Don't be fooled again.

Wouldn't it be cool if there was a way to get paid a commission if you're efforts lead to the arrest and conviction of an online predator? Let's say I could get $500 for each pervert I help catch. If I got ten pervs a day, that would be $5,000 a day! That would be $500 x 300 = $15,000 a month! That is of course if the court caught, conviced and fined the pervert. Then the money I would get would be money that the pervert had to pay as a court fee. This totally would WORK!!!
I could stay up late each night pretending to be a child online, and WHAM! I get 500 bucks! EASY money!!!
