I need a serious answer from a law enforcement officer. I feel our small town policeman is covering up something, and it is making me scared. I am afraid to report the actiities of my neighborhood anymore because our city policeman says he doesnt hear what I do. Any advice?

Yeah. Some person parked in front of my driveway/garage.

Honked like a mad man and no one came.(Even though a neighbor told me it was the person standing outside before.) Then proceeds to tell me that they do it all the time when were out of the house.

Writing a note probably wont stop them since they are parking in front of a garage and not just a driveway. So who would i call? and would the police (if i call them) do anything about it?

and since it is "my property" i could do that right?

I was arrested about 3 months ago, but nothing has happened, my lawyer has checked frequently with the District Attorneys office. They said it hasnt even came through. So I was wondering how long the police station can wait to file a police report.

They spent 15 months in prison for something they didn't do!
They were accused feeding this child salt. But some believe it is virtually impossible for a person to die from excess salt unless they have a condition preventing the expulsion of excess salt. If a person drinks too much salt water, they will usually throw it up (like in the movie "Casino Royal") But some people lack the ability to dispose of even normal amounts of salt. Potato chips are poisonous to these people! It appears the little boy had this condition.

I am genuinely interested. I lived in Montana growing up and visited Canada quite often - I recently went back for a ski vacation and noticed quite a few people didn't care for Americans ( I still had a great time).

I got pulled over & was given a ticket.
I went to court, & they told me to pay the $125 penalty & plead guilty or go to traffic school & pay $116.
I told them I wanted to contest the ticket so I'm scheduled to go back to court next month.
Even if I was going 2 miles above the speed limit, I think that it's ridiculous to get one for that...

My husband is going to be receiving his greencard soon. We are wanting to get his 3 kids here with us. What forms are we to fill out to send back and if anyone has done this, how long did it take before they were able to come? Thank you.

I was told by someone just to fill out the I-130 (Petition for Alein Relative) for each child then when they arrive in US, to fill out and send in the I-485 for Adjustment of Status. Something just does seem right to me.

I think Mexicans deserve more privileges since the USA took over Mexican North territory. So Mexicans are part of the USA since before it expanded to the west coast.

A recent poster asked if we Liberals don't believe that there are terrorists who would like to strike at America again, and if we did not believe that radical Muslims wish for the death of Americans.

Well, I believe that, yes, there are terrorists who would like to attack us again and again. Some are here in the US now, don't you think? (As I've told the story many times, even "non-terrorists" thought that it was good that we were "getting a taste of our own medicine" on our own soil...If you want the whole story on that, email me...)
And, yes, I think there is a radical fringe of Muslims who would like to see the infidels in the US destroyed. (There are many other people, from other countries and from the US, even, who would like to do damage to our government--Tim McVeigh was one of them...)
But, again (and again and again) what does the "war" in Iraq have to do with all of that??
Wouldn't we be better off trying to "off" the perpetrators of 9/11?
