Depends how sick, if I am to be hospitalized over the election I would get an absentee ballot, if it was a little cold or something I would drag myself out of bed and go do my civic duty.

If you think you're going to get sick around elections season roll your hospital bed next to the voting location then hold your position until the doors open. Once the doors are open drag yourself, even if that means scraping your knees on the ground, DRAG yourself to the voting booth then vote for a President with high moral standards.

Don't leave it in the hands of those you THINK will vote for the benefit of the nation. Next thing you know you'll be looking cross eyed at some fool in the White House for the next 4 years.

Most states offer early voting (a 15 day voting period prior to election day) Many people vote early just in case something should come up (such as illness) on election day that would prevent them from voting. However, one may also request an absentee ballot.

I usually get sick after I vote, but otherwise, an absentee vote would be a good choice.
