Misinformed for the brother of Fidel is now acting in his place and when he dies will then hae his position.Last I read although is in frail health feels fine and no immediate danger of him dying. Before the US takes on any country esp one that would drain our finances further for Cuba has not much to offer needs to settle the mess in Iraq and clean up our Govt to get back to the America that we were before Bush.

Doubtful. Cuban politics will probably fall into chaos for a while and then follow the Soviet Union into capitalism. Expect the U.S. business interests to be eager to get the foot in the door and renew ties that have been strained for the past 45 years. The U.S. is not likely to want control of Cuba again.

Most of population of Cuba is already in Florida; what would be the point. I doubt if Cuba's armed forces or Castro is keeping the US out though.

uh.. don't think so..
I thought Fidel Castros brother was gonna take his place.
Jees, I don't know much about Cuba .. but Cuba would definitely NOT be the Cuba we know now ...
anyway..

Anyway.. communism is not a bad thing.. to bad people are so selfish and COMPETITIVE ... its all about money money money!! while others starve to death!..
would be great if we could all be equal..
anyway.. thats just a personal thought and point of view from a 16 year old. don't judge me please.

I think it will happen because it is next to Florida and it is a beautiful Country. With good spirited and strong people who are willing for anything good in there life. If the US actually did then Florida will grow and become more touristic and beautiful. For example they connect Florida and Cuba together. It's that easy, just as my Country Nicaragua.

Despite what you have been told, when one country takes over another, it is considered an act of aggression or war. The United Nations would not be happy, our allies would not be happy, our enemies would not be happy, and the American people would probably riot.

Unless it was Cheney or Chertoff that told you, I'd say it's a rumor.
