I am genuinely interested. I lived in Montana growing up and visited Canada quite often - I recently went back for a ski vacation and noticed quite a few people didn't care for Americans ( I still had a great time).

C'mon now. It isn't just in Canada that Americans are disliked. It is around the globe. And it isn't that they hate Americans. It is more that they dislike Bush and his tactics. Don't forget that Bush snubbed the U.N. when he invaded Iraq. Bad move.
As for Canada, I remember seeing Canadians on the news lining up to give Bush the finger when he visited. And didn't a Liberal politician call him a moron? I think it would be safe to say Canadians hate Bush and not their friends across the border. If another Republican is voted into office in 08 I doubt things will change.
