Politics & Government - 18 March 2007

I was told by the police that if they come across it they would call. I feel like I could drive around and do the same. Is there some way I can search to see if it is being sold? I don't want to drive around aimlessly. I just moved to a new state & starting over. I can't afford this-besides feeling violated. HELP!

I am a Canadian holding H1-B visa. I am planning to get registered in June 2007 here in United States with my fiance, who holds a Taiwan passport. Please let me know what is the H4 application procedure. Do we need to go out and re-entry or can we change her status from B2, visitor's visa, to H4 visa here in United States?

i've already found another job which increased my pay almost 1/3 more then last job doing similar work..

ok to make things more sense, i am working as a storeman, i drive forklifts, i work with heavy metals, (springs weights 3-8 KGS each and i have to pack thousands of these a day, bending my back etc). after 9 months it does make my back sore everymorning even though i am only 23...

**Note: I do have a full description of the vehicle and I know the license plate number.
These people whom I have never met looked at me and called me a b*tch in a wal mart parking lot and then proceeded to swoop around me at a high speed and then slow down in front of me. Then when we got on the highway they would slow down in front of me to force me to pass then "race" me while shouting obscenities out the window. When I stopped trying to pass they got into the other lane to continue with the behavior. As hard as I tried not to let them, they got behind me and followed me. They followed dangerously closely and flashed their lights so I could scarcely see where I was going. I dialed 911 and had police meet me but the offenders had already pulled on to a side street. At the time I said I didn't want to press charges because I was afraid of these people knowing my name, but now I may change my mind depending on what actions I can take against them.

Has anyone ever experienced or known someone who had experienced "revenge" from the police of a city after suing that city's department?

Call me distrusting of the police, but I wouldn't doubt it that post-lawsuit, especially if any police involved were personally punished, police would try to get you back.

Say for example, you sue your neighbor city's police, and win, and two officers are suspended. I'd figure the cop would probably pull the person over, drop a baggy of marijuana or something right on your lap, and then arrest you for it.

I think I've stumbled on something. One thing it seems most libs and cons agree upon is our disgust for Al Gore. Different reasons, perhaps, but the guy is someone that can unite us. Maybe he should be president. All of us and the media can spend free time Gore-bashing. Meanwhile, with government gridlocked and the people united, we ordinary people can live our lives without government meddling. ..... just a thought.

Sex offenders released from jail/prison always moleste / rape again and again. Alot of times they murder the victim. But why are the relesed the FIRST time?! Once a rapist always one. That how is is in fact. I watch the news and everyday a child is kiddnapped, days later or maybe weeks they find the dead child and say there was acts of rape.
