Politics & Government - 18 March 2007

Most republicans claim to support the war, but when asked if they would be willing to send a family member to iraq, most aren't so patriotic! Only about 2 percent of republican voters have actually been to iraq. Most just stay home waving an American flag claiming we are spreading democracy. Will you as an individual be willing to fight the war?

I know I am - and I'm a democrat.

I rushed out of the house without my wallet to take wife to optometrist to have glasses repaired before they closed for the day, as she could not use them without causing her pain. made it in time but on the way home pulled over for a breath test, could not show drivers licence, officer fined me but said I could write a letter & probably get out of fine, as I have a 10year clean driving record.

i know this is the 2nd question simiular to the other but...........i dont think i typed the question correctly...
See they did the Search warrant thing by showing my friend the paper , they went in did their thing while video taping it one officer started to video tape the her boyfriend and her and her kids . "VIDEO TAPE" is my question?
did they have that right?
and to ask her questions on the video tape. Also they took her in one room and asked her all these questions and kept on bringing in SOcial services. i guess to get her scared. Her boyfriend does NOT sell Drugs Nor uses em. what they are thinking why this happend is because not too long ago the friend of her boyfriend had this done to him and they think he blammed everything on her boyfriend so he can be free. DO you think there is anything my friend can do cause she feels so aweful that she was video taped and harrassed FOR NOTHING!

Ok, I am soon to be military, atcually prior service going back in. Now I want to marry a girl who is Japanese, she is currently in America because she is going to a nursing college in Tennessee, but she is not a citizen. Now if we get married does she become a citizen? I will be in the military when we get married so what happens? Any insight at all would help!

Please explain to me why pot is soooooo bad but cigarettes and liquor aren't. What does pot do thats so much worse than the other two?

Should we get it legalized and ban ciggies instead.

If a mother wants a father to pay child support, even though the father takes care of the kid, if she's just a gold digger and wants his money, does the father have the right to get a DNA test done to prove he's the father?even if his name is on the birth certificate? and I was told dna tests were done for free when the baby is first born, if this is true, can it be done without the mother of the child's consent?

Actually, I thought this was what was in 'SPP' for Bush ever since I heard that Mexico's oil field was playing out at certain levels, and that they needed foreign investment and technology to exploit the rest of their oil.

We have that technology.

my friend had a search warrant done at her home yesterday morning. the thing is she felt a bit harrassed by it all. it wasnt her name on the search warrant it was her boyfriends. the thing is they asked her questions and she has kids and they made it that she better answer or they use her kids to get to her. they mentioned to her about SOcial services about 5 times. they also video taped the whole thing and put her in the video made her talk and say her name and her brithdate and her kids names and birthdate. It seems like she is Traumatized by this happening. Knowing too the police were real Fruastrated because they did not find NOt one thing!
