Jesus would help and feed the poor- no questions asked. He would never want anyone to participate in a war- that would be a sin.

Jesus wouldn't do anything but sit around and pop Oxycontin while doing magic tricks for quarters before he is caught peddling clothes he stole of a clothes line and was convicted and labled as insane for thinking he is the son of God and then sent to a hospital where his existence will become an experiment where he is loaded with anti depressants and tranquilizers in hopes that his schizophrenia will go away before he ends up killing someone through his illusions. The doctor prescribing the drugs will hope for a 100% recovery so he can win a Nobel Prize with his ability to cure the retards.

I like this question. I have asked this myself to republicans and they never have an answer. Interesting they don't here either.
To the guy replying after me...
Isn't the whole point that the lesson he taught should be applied in life? Our lives are controlled and governed to a fairly massive degree by the government and systems in which we live. So therefore it is a logical conclusion that if you believe in Jesus than those basic morals and principles should be applied. Especially the ones about acceptance and love.
It is contradictory to say "Look at what he did, how noble. We should do that....except the government."

I have never read about Jesus asking the government to do anything for anyone.
Now on the other hand, I have read where:
He fed the multitudes,
He healed the sick,
He raised the dead,
He made the blind to see,
He made the lame to walk,
He made the leper clean,
He eliminated the high fever,
He replaced the soldier's ear, and the list goes on and on and on..........but never once have I read of Jesus asking the government to take care of the people.

Jesus was a Social activist....I doubt he'd cut assistance to the poorest people.
And I doubt he would support tax cuts for the rich.

If Jesus saw what kind of idiots were worshipping him these days, he would nail himself to that cross as fast as he could.
