It was the dems and it was wrong and everyone knows it was wrong. Now let's update that a little so that we make sure we get the whole story straight. What party and what president (and his party) put wire taps on the dems and on regular American citizens? Oh, yes, that was Nixon and now Bush and the GOP.
And, what party gathered up innocent Palestinian families and innocent muslims and had them deported even though it was proven time and again that they had no connections to terrorism or al Queda? Which is no different than what FDR did with the Japanese. Yes, that was Bush and the GOP.
And, what president lied about WMD's? Yes, that was Bush.
And, what president lied about Iraq being involved with Al Queda and lied about Saddam was getting uranium from Africa? Yes, you're right, that was Bush and Cheney.

To clarify, it was an overly conservative FBI director (J. Edgar Hoover) who ordered the wiretapping of MLK under the COINTELPRO operations during the civil rights era. He was known for operating outside the per view of the Democratic President.
