I think Mexicans deserve more privileges since the USA took over Mexican North territory. So Mexicans are part of the USA since before it expanded to the west coast.

1. No Benefits of any kind if you are in this country illegally.
2. 3rd immigration infraction, 50 year federal inprisonment
MANDATORY
3. If you want to come, come. Do the proper paperwork. I would make the paperwork easier for those who do want to come legally.
4. Charge a cover charge. to be here. Once you have been paying the cover charge for 10 years, you get your citizenship, as long as you are a non-felon and have paid taxes etc. for that 10 years.

PS. THE USA did not "take over" any mexican territory. Mexico sold it to the USA in the treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo...something like 10 million. I bet we could sell it back for like 250 million. All we would have to do is airbrush something on it, put rims on it, and a dent in the passenger side.

Excuse me, Santa Ana signed the territories you speak of over to the United States. Illegal Immigration is Not just about Mexicans. In fact those that have come here legally from other countries are not in favor of Any Amnesty for them. They have no legal right to assume they are entitled to come across the border anytime they feel like it!

Furthermore, for any country to consider itself a sovereign nation it has to secure the borders, speak a common language, have their own laws and have its' own currency! The priveledge that any Illegal Alien has earned, is deportation immediatly and everything confiscated. No ifs, and or but about it!

Mexico, has a zero tolerance policy towards Illegal Immigration to their country, you have few if any rights if you move there and cannot own any property there, unless you are a Mexican national. They want Americans to shoulder even more of their economic responsibilities and not give their own people work or socio-economic advances and decent housing.

Now, why are we breaking our own banks, hospital care systems and further burdening American people and cheating Legitimate American children out of good, quality educations?

The present government of Mexico did not lose any territory to the USA through war. The previous countries occuping the geographical area of what is now Mexico lose many wars.

I would change the law that allows previously deported aliens to adjust their status. I would make it a lifetime bar to anyone deported at government expense.

first Anny Mexican entering without a visa or green card should be arrested and Mexico billed for the expenses to incarcerate and deport the illegal then end anchor baby citizenship that was a law from slavery even though Mexicans are our corporation slaves. i would enact a law to make it a criminal act to hire an illegal and it would be a felony considering it is a federal law they are breaking
Mexico never owned California it belonged to the Indians and they were oppressed by the Mexican government we freed them!

I believe the best change would be in the area of how many people we can allow in each year. It is my belief that this country can only provide employment, education and medical care for a definite number of people. We need to determine what that number is, and then set our immigration policy to reflect how many people we can accomodate. No one has ever done that and many border cities are going bankrupt as a result of uncontrolled immigration.

first, i would build a lethally electrified fence preceeded by a moat filled with hungry alligators, then i would encourage all illegals to leave voluntarily before they become wet backs " mojados " again.

and i would announce LOUD and CLEAR that a study done by the World Health Organization, under the auspices of the U.N., discovered that MEXICO has the HIGHEST rate of RAPE and INCEST on the ENTIRE planet.

if mexicans are so proud of " la raza" why don't they go back and clean up their own pig sty of a country instead of polluting every where they go in the U.S. ?

y llevate la pinche puta india maria contigo cuando sales.

mal educados, sin verguenzas

vete a la mierda que existe en mejico.

and do americans know that there are regular adverts in papers like the LA.Times, supported by the catholic church, that offer midwifery service, and for $ 200 US, a midwife will attest that she delivered a child in the U.S. even though it was born in mexico ?

I disagree with your position on Mexicans.

I think we, like every single EU country and Canada, need to remove birthright citizenship and limit family preferences in immigration to spouse and minor children, so that we have room in existing quotas to bring in immigrants who will benefit the US, rather than increasingly distant family from the original immigrant.

I also think immigration status should have to be proven before enrollment in schools, and hospitals should only give illegal immigrants emergency care to stabalize them prior to deportation. They broke our laws to get here and they are not our responsibilty.

I like what the Dutch have been doing with their new immigrants. They show them films that depict their progressive Dutch values (people there have a great deal of personal freedom), and then if newcomers aren't comfortable living in such a liberal society, they are discouraged from immigrating. Also, I think any immigrants who commit a major crime should be deported. Too much crime is coming out of the immigrant community. They ruin it for everyone.
