I Booked a General Aptitude at MEPS and I was looking through the jobs the one that interests me is "Intelliegience Applications" Can anyone give me any specifics on what you do, what type of training you recieve, how long, etc

There are several different career fields that fall under "Intel Apps" so all of that would depend upon which you actually choose.

Your training will be classified so I cannot tell you anything that you would possibly learn in your training. Sorry.

Generally, intel training lasts between 3 months and upwards of 2 years (for example, lets say a Chinese linguist... they have over a year of language training, and then an additional 4 months, give or take, of technical training).

Intel is an interesting career field. I enjoy the work that I do and it's fun to know stuff waaay before "normal" people do (ie, when they see it on the news). It does suck though because you can't tell them that you know it.... :(

Also, most intel career fields (particularly in the AF) offer nice, fat reenlistment bonuses. I got over $50,000 for mine (this is reenlistment, not sign up bonus).

Sorry man can't tell you anything about that job, but I can tell you that there is nothing more fun than being a Marine Grunt. 03 is the way to go. Good Luck!

Take ROTC, ITS REALLY BENEFICIAL, you can be an officer. TRUST ME!
