Depends on the Branch. The Army is a PX (Post Exchange), Marine and Navy (And Air Force I think, too) is a BX (Base Exchange). Also, they have have a commissary, which is just a grocery store.

For the Army it's Post Exchange
For Air Force it's Base Exchange
For Navy it's Navy Exchange
For Marine Corps it's Marine Exchange
The commissary is just like a food store (Safeway, Piglywigly)
The Exchange is more like Wal-Mart or K-Mart.

Army and Air Forces exchanges are under one service called AAFES (Army Air Force Exchange System)
Navy and Marine Exchange are under Navy Exchange system.
The Coast Guard has their own exchange also.

Which exhibits how small the governments balls are... shops can not positioned up Christmas wood, group can not point out the observe "Christmas" to all and sundry. On remembrance day, poppies have been banned in shops around the united kingdom, the English soccer team could no longer positioned on them the two! All because of the fact the government choose us to be so "computing device".
