I think our global problems reside not in the differences between nations but in our attitude against these differences.
Respect/Disrespect,
Aggression/Co-operation,
Power/Weakness,
Ambition/Contentment

John Sununu says he should. And, actually, Gonzalez might have lied under oath - he did tell Congress that no abuses of the PATRIOT Act were taking place.

Liberals share a belief in individual rights, free enterprise, representative democracy, and the rule of law. In this sense, almost all Americans accept liberal ideals, so much so that it is easy to forget how revolutionary these ideals were when the American Constitution was written. Since Reagan, liberalism has been colored to appear weak and elitist. Well, if individual rights, free enterprise, and representative democracy is a weakness, that is unamerican and Foolish. Think like a liberal, think BIG!

Seriously... you waste so much time trying to interpret the asker's point of view based on ONE question (instead of simply ASKING him or her about it) that you work yourself up into a frenzy and end up insulting someone who holds the same point of view you do.

Calm down, everyone - it's just a message board.

Do we want to find and punish those responsible, or are we willing to simply capture someone, ANYONE, just to be able to say we did?

And NO - I AM NOT SAYING THAT THE U.S. GOVERNMENT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR IT. So all you wackos who will assume me to be a conspiracy theorist, go peddle crazy somewhere else. I'm talking about the Islamic terrorists responsible for the conception, planning, financing and execution.

My neighbor, A REPUBLICAN, has a small business with a room above it next to his house. I saw that he had this family of darker skinned people living above the shop and working with him there; it is a auto repair shop.

I went over to talk to them one day when he left to ask if they needed help. They said they were from Peurto Rico and they were fine. I asked if they had a green card and they LAUGHED at me! I told them that it was ok, and I wouldn't tell, and if they needed to get a way from their slave driver, I would help them get up to Canada. They smiled and left, but I could hear them laughing.

Why does my REPUGLICAN neighbor think he can use illegals from Peurto Rico?????

I'm planning to stay in a hostel since it's a whole lot cheaper than staying in a hotel. But if I write this on my application form requesting for a visitors visa to Spain that I have booked my accomodations in a hostel instead of a hotel - will this affect my chances of getting the said visa???

Conservatives, neoconservatives, republicans are so negative about America. We are the greatest civilization ever created, we are the economic envy of the world, educate our children, have prestigous universities and scientific centers, have a free media, and enjoy a prosperous life our founding fathers could hardly have imagined. Liberals have adopted humaine social services giving our country decency in how we treat others. In fact, ALL liberal ideals that have been adopted, have been adopted by the democratic party. Disaster did not strike, we did not lose our competitive edge, and, America grew stronger. So, what country do you live in, that the liberals have ruined. Not my country, not America, I live in a free and just place, that liberals have enhanced, to ALL of our benefit!

Isn't it funny that countries like the US and the UK are perfectly happy to continue keeping their nukes, nuke subs, etc. and wasting millions on updates, while they actively shun and sanction other nations for attempting to do the same! I say practise what you preach! I'm all for total global nuclear disamament!!

This morning, I posed this question: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Avg1t2a4A2glvZpPylY4xoHsy6IX?qid=20070315041015AAqkyvZ

My purpose in posting this was to find out whether people thought that Khalid Yadda Yadda was telling the truth that he was responsible for 9/11 "from A to Z" as he said, or whether people believe that a terrorist might lie and there might be others involved.

As you see, I was called a jihadist, I was insulted, I was berated... all for refusing to take a terrorist's word for it that he was the one responsible for the whole thing.

So now refusing to take a terrorist's words to be absolutely true makes me unAmerican? Who the hell does this country belong to? Them???

Corporations and single Business owners tax right offs for individual so called trips ,when in fact majority of these so called business ordeals are really individual vacation leisure trips not to mention personal attire and gas etc. Is it not that we should have a new program designed that keeps up of these personal corporational accounts etc. that exceeds a certain yearly income of 150,000.I believe if the IRS had a personal card designed for this new program to where the system was closely monitored you would fine millions of dollars thrown away just on pleasure trips etc.

as the consequences are now clear of no room on the roads,8 buyers chasing evrey house, forced water metrers as not enough water to go round,no room at dentists or hospitals,if nu-lab doubled housing wherby destroying and vandalising the enviroment it would make no diference except 4 people instead of 8 chasing each house, etc.
