The taxpayers pay and no we cannot afford it. Look at any country with a national health and you will find an underlying oppressive tax base required to support the system. We do need reform in our system, but creating the largest entitlement in American history is not a solution, but rather a gigantic new problem.

The liberals would like for you to think that we can afford it, but the bottom line is who pays.....WE WILL! We will be taxed to death. Clinton wants to turn America towards Socialism.
Sorry, I work hard for my health insurance that I pay out the *** for. So should everyone else. Nothing is free. Someone might be getting medicare and medicaid, but someone else is paying for it......US!

How about selling all the stocks in these unethical insurance companies and all the stocks in these private hospitals and donating it to the cause. That should pay for it for the next 10 years.

You already have it. Medicaid and medicare. But you have the worst of both worlds. Expensive private and expensive public.
