Corporations and single Business owners tax right offs for individual so called trips ,when in fact majority of these so called business ordeals are really individual vacation leisure trips not to mention personal attire and gas etc. Is it not that we should have a new program designed that keeps up of these personal corporational accounts etc. that exceeds a certain yearly income of 150,000.I believe if the IRS had a personal card designed for this new program to where the system was closely monitored you would fine millions of dollars thrown away just on pleasure trips etc.

The government shouldn't be controlling any business' internal practices. The employees and share holders should be auditing their expenses.
If you really think government should be overseeing these things then answer this one question: name one efficiently run government program, just one.

Did you know you can do that too? All you have to do is something related to a job or your present job and you can write off the whole trip...if you have to dress a certain way for work you can write off cloths...you can use the tax breaks just like they can...I do...as long as you have receipts it's all good...maybe you should research a little before you complain...I have for the past 14 years gotten back in income tax 2 to 3 times what i paid in...all legally...

Legitimate business expenses are fine. I am a small business owner who does not take elaborate vacations - I do not like to fly. I use gas in doing business - is this not an expense?

Government needs to stay out of it. Repeal income taxes and institute the Fair Tax.

I am conservative and for big business but I agree 100 % with you. These expenences are way out of controll. I do not want to pay for someone elses vacation. On the other hand there are legit expences out there that should be tax deductible.

Write offs are justified for true business trips, but there is a lot of abuse, as there is with a lot of other things. There is no simple or easy solution.

Abuse is making it a problem, but we are certainly too late to stop it because of global demands. Halliburton’s move to Dubai and Accenture’s to Bahamas are just some example. Too much bureaucracy
