What about the other provisions of the First Amendment, such as: free speech, freedom to practice any religion, or freedom to assemble?

This is what I want to know: Are American journalists proteced by our Constitution when NOT on American soil?

If a reporter is in Iraq or Afghanistan, for instance, does the First Amendment apply, or does military law or the home nation's law (Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, etc.) apply?

How many people are working jobs that they are very overqualified for? Many people are graduating from college every year. How long is it taking them to find a decent job? How many people are working "crappy" jobs when they deserve a much better job? Are there even enough jobs out there for all these college graduates?

Just curious cause I tend to like the 3rd party candidates, but never vote for them cause they never seem to have a chance at winning.

I'm very opinionated and I'm getting more and more into politics as I get older. I want to know who would be the candidate that I'd like the most in 2008. Here are my views on the issues:

Abortion - Strongly Pro Life

Capital Punishment - Strongly For it

Gay Marraige - Strongly For it

Illegal Immigration - If they're here, let them stay. We're spending too much money on it.

War In Iraq - Was for it, now - I dont really see the point. I'm kinda in the middle on that one.

Environmentalists - not big on my priority list. whatever makes gas prices go down, im for it. otherwise - who cares.

World Peace - We need to fix all the problems with America before we go around playing World Police

So basically, im an opinionated moderate, leaning slightly towards democrats. If you find a candidate who matches my views, please send me a link to their official website.

ok so "Article Two of the United States Constitution establishes the president as the Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces"

so shouldn't there be a requirement that anyone running for president of the us must have served in the armed forces?

is anyone in the armed forces bothered by the fact that they have to take orders from someone who has no clue what they do?

A road where I live was changed from 60 to 45 almost 3 months ago, but still at any given time there are up to 6 cars pulled over on the side of the road. For God's sake they have bright orange flags sticking from the speed limits signs. Then they ***** about how the "goddamn pigs" have nothing better to do other than pull them over for going 70 in a clearly marked 45 zone. These people do know that the little black number on the side of the road isn't a suggestion, right?

Whats up all the riot in brazil over George Bush's visit? He's done nothing to harm brazilians at all. And despite the fact he is a terrible president and a person of questionable values, the american people are the only ones who are gonna face the consequences of his wrongdoings right?

He is the U.S. president but he was also led us into a war that we are slowly losing no matter which way you look at it. Even if we do "win" at what price is it for all the soldiers?

So i guess a seperate question is, what to do with the troops over seas and the ones that are being deployed

A friend of mine was recently thrown out of a really cool nightclub in new york and then beaten up outside by the bouncer. Is this legal? My friend says she didn't do anything and even if she's lying, why would the bouncer keep beating her up once she was outside the club?
Point is, is that legal? Also, are there other cases of this happening?

Most pro-choice people are against abortion too, but they want it to be safe and legal. I don't believe some women wake up in the morning and think "I'm going to have unprotected sex and if anything happens I'll just get an abortion" Are pro-life people just against it or do they really want to make it illegal. Personally I'm against abortion, but I think it should stay legal.

How come so many of you Americans often say to ME PERSONALLY: "If it wasn't for us, you'd all be speaking German!" If my grandfather was still alive he'd have a few things to say about that. (and he fought exceptionally hard, and took four bullets in his body too and still managed to survive!) Do you Americans not realise the British fought very hard during that war, and managed to win the Battle of Britain on our own before you lot arrived?

Why is our government so afraid to call it what it is instead of fearing to offend moderate Muslims. Moderate Muslims should be offended by what the Islamists have done to their religion. The Islamists have stated a million times that they want to spread Islam around the world and install Sharia Law.
