.....with but a few changes, Iraq itself could well proclaim the exact same thoughts re the Bush administration.....................

"Iraq Summit offers U.S., Iran icebreaker
Associated Press March 9, 2007
BAGHDAD - ...
On a trip to Brazil on Friday, President Bush said the message to Syria and Iran won't change at the Baghdad conference.
"We expect you to help this young democracy," Bush said. "We will defend ourselves and the people in Iraq from weapons being shipped in that cause harm; that we will protect ourselves and help the Iraqi people protect themselves against those who would murder the innocent to achieve political objectives."
---
Most of Iraq has gone through complete devestation Now they too can say:
"We will defend ourselves" and "protect ourselves:" from the weapons being used to destroy our land and kill our people. We seek to protect ourselves and the Iraqi people lfrom those who would "murder....etc....political objectives."

Same difference...

As you've probably seen in today's headlines, the government is now reporting rampant FBI abuses of the Patriot Act's National Security Letter (NSL) provision that gives agents sweeping powers to demand sensitive personal records without court approval.

The report reveals that, from 2003 to 2005, the government issued a staggering 143,000 National Security Letters, in some cases barring recipients from even reporting they've received a letter. How much more proof does Congress need that this dangerous provision defies democratic values? How many more of us will be investigated and gagged before the FBI is reined in?

There's only one course of action. It is time for Congress to repeal the expanded Patriot Act powers that opened the door to these abuses.

I mean I don't buy macro-evolution due to the total lack of transitional fossils, yet the dumbest homosapiens really do seem to be eliminating themselves from existence. Look at liberalism:

1) 20% have become homosexuals and have stopped breeding
2) Many of the liberals who are still breeding are aborting their offspring
3) New Orleans, a virtual liberal utopia with liberal leadership at every level was a hell-hole of crime and corruption, lived below sea level, and was ultimately unable to use resources wisely enough to protect its citizens from extinction
4) Currently they want to withdraw from defending their own country, allowing the battle to come to our shores

Liberalism seems to have a tendency to eliminate terminate itself from the gene pool. What do you think?

Throughout history in countless civilizations, the freedom to do and say what we want has een fought for and died for. Today, that same freedom is used to discriminate and segregate others. Liberal, Republicans, Christaianity, athiests... Who cares?? What ever happened to listening, then if you disagree, agreeing to disagree?

It is a given fact that gasoline purchases by Americans results in direct revenue and weapons for islamic terrorists in the middle east who kill our troops and devise attacks on our country. This includes any sale of international oil from any other country because that is what drives up the prices for the terrorist-countries, including Iran, from whom we do not directly purchase oil. We know that by improving miles-per-gallon on average a few points, we would be free of non-domestic oil. Now, it is true that many people truly need large suv's, or trucks, because of a business, for example land-scaping, or because they have 5 or 6 children, etc. But we all see the millions of suv's, trucks, and sports cars that are simply used to drive back and forth from office jobs and the store, etc, a function that could easily be done with a hybrid-electric automobile (as I do with mine). So, do these people, truly just have a selfish lust and don't give a damn about our troops and country?

"The Second Amendment would be an inexplicable aberration if it were not read to protect individual rights as well"

I agree. Banning individual gun use is unconstitutional.

All I want from this man is the money i loaned him so he could keep is car from going into repo. I was trying to be a helpful person and this is what I get for it. He has played with me over this now for 7 months. I even told him I would go back to him if just pays me, ya right. I do have things in writing that he owes me the money. If I have to take him to court can I sue for the drama he has put me through to get it? We meet on yahoo personnals as well and he is a used car sales men so he knows how to play people. I however want my money plus I want him to hurt like he has hurt me. Any suggestions I am tired of begging for something that is owed to me and he also needs to learn his lesson about using people.

Is there a place in Denver I can go to, like the Chamber of Commerence or something to talk to someone in person? I work in Kuwait and we are planning on getting married...either in Kuwait or the Philippines or possibly Colorado. Is there a difference between a fiance VISA and a regular VISA if she is already my wife? Would I be better off bringing her to the states as a finace? What is quicker...and who can I talk to while I am home in Denver? Thanks for your help...I hope to talk to someone in person if possible.
