.....with but a few changes, Iraq itself could well proclaim the exact same thoughts re the Bush administration.....................

"Iraq Summit offers U.S., Iran icebreaker
Associated Press March 9, 2007
BAGHDAD - ...
On a trip to Brazil on Friday, President Bush said the message to Syria and Iran won't change at the Baghdad conference.
"We expect you to help this young democracy," Bush said. "We will defend ourselves and the people in Iraq from weapons being shipped in that cause harm; that we will protect ourselves and help the Iraqi people protect themselves against those who would murder the innocent to achieve political objectives."
---
Most of Iraq has gone through complete devestation Now they too can say:
"We will defend ourselves" and "protect ourselves:" from the weapons being used to destroy our land and kill our people. We seek to protect ourselves and the Iraqi people lfrom those who would "murder....etc....political objectives."

Same difference...

i have a friend who actually comes from Iraq and he said "USA, Saddam, religious groups they are all the same to the people of Iraq, they are all their to feed themselves, no body really cares about the true people of Iraq". the truth is the good people were dieing before and its the same story now, who ever is savage and ferocious enough will get to live the longest.

Your first answer The US was once a country that had slaves, civil wars, all kinds of atrocities, and grew out of them.
Look how good it is now, has this person ever herd of modern day slavery. Over 45 million people live below the poverty level, or how expensive it is to live here, ya its great as long as you have a job and you can pay the bills.
America USA created the problems in Iraq, not Saddam

Edit why did you change your question
Why is all these things happening the USA, this did not happen under Saddam

But that's international politics, nothing new. When we kill or destroy, it's for self defense or for democracy and freedom. When someone else does it, it's murder and aggression. Politicians all over the world use the same rhetoric. Only the names are changed to protect the guilty!

Yes that is correct. I have been arguing this from the very day we invaded Iraq... that all the insurgents were doing was protecting their country from an invasion. Where is the crime in that? Wouldn't we do the same...

The innocent civilians must be spared in time of war. The provisions of the Geneva Convention must be observed. Otherwise, US can be indicted in the International Court of Justice for violations of the International Law.

The US was once a country that had slaves, civil wars, all kinds of attrocities, and grew out of them. Its just evolution, it should be allowed to take its course.
