He only seeks and approves policies that make six figure income earners richer. Meanwhile, a dollar six years ago will get you about 70 cents of product today. High paying jobs are vanishing making it far more challenging for individuals to climb up to the middle class economic rungs.

Why do working class people support the enemy of the working class?

Your thoughts please.

They hate Bush, they hate the fact we are fighting terrorist in Iraq they campaigned on stopping the war in Iraq and promised not to fund it but at the end of the day these spineless nitwits do not even have the political courage of their so called convictions to vote on a resolution to do what they say they want to do. They know the majority of Americans do not want to cut off funds to our brave troops in harms way.

......as it clearly states all reasons, goals and objectives for the U.S. lead invasion of Iraq, a large part of which are goals that have now been met. This was signed by most of your now lying, leftist leaders who were at the time in total agreeance with the WORLD community's intelligence and stance on the imminent dangers of Iraq's foreign policy.

We had Reagan as a Hollywood, but he was an ex-lib. Arnold, Clint Eastwood, Sonny Bono, Gopher from the Love Boat never made it to President and came from varying political attitudes. Al Gore could be yet again a trailblazer!

I didn't, until I came upon this website. After all, before George Bush became president, we had a wonderful domestic economy, the Twin Towers still stood in the heart of New York, there was global peace, no global warming, and now all those things have changed.

I may vote again for Republican candidates on my local level but it has just become concretized for me that and I hate to say, that I just don't think the GOP is competent as a philosophy to lead on the large scale level - probably better suited to dealing with land assessments and such on the local level (as I'm voting for my local land assessor GOP yes)

I won't be voting GOP again nationally for at least a few election cycles -

anyone else as utterly disgusted with the dishonesty and incompetnence of the current GOP as I am?

Reagan-Republicans are gone with their namesake apparently

I hope the Democrats welcome an exGOP voter

I am not a christian, nor am I an aethiest.

But whenever I tell a christian that I am not a christian they simply assume I am an aethiest (ignorant). I believe in science, not superstition. My faith is based on science. That does not mean that I am an aethiest.

Now for my question..

Why do you belive that your morals, and religious beliefs have any place in politics?

The founding of our nation was based on the idea of religious freedom. I believe that religion has NO place in politics. Science has a place in politics because it is the study of the truth. Don't get me wrong, I respect christian beliefs for the most part. Just as I respect all religions. They are all fundamentally the same. Virutues should be practiced and vices should not. And I agree. I just do not belive that The Bible is a credible source of information. It is not scientific. It is not factual. It was written many years ago by people who did not understand basic physics. Why must I conform?
