Mr. Methane Gasman asked the question, "Is The Obese Al Gore A Carbon Hog And Global Warming Hypocrite?" When I gave the factual answer (not my opinion), nobody seemed to care about the truth. The majority just wanted to carry on with their uninformed rhetoric, when the answer to the question was right there. Do we turn our backs on the truth because of ego, or are we doomed to live in a world full of opinions, instead of a world based on facts?

Algore is a "carbon pig" and you know it. Do you think Americans will give him a pass on his incredible personal energy consumption while he tells the rest of us to make major lifestyle changes? What do you think ?

Seriously. I have never understood this premise. Wilson goes to Africa, comes back, and says he think Bush is full of it. OK. His opinion.

I just cannot picture Bush and Rove sitting in the White House saying "that damn Wilson! I hate him. He's ruining everything! I know! Let's out his CIA WMD expert wife! That'll make his views on WMD's less credible and get him good!!"

Come on people. This whole thing is so lame. There's still debate going on as to whether she even was a covert CIA agent.

Is it outing if you post the CIA janitor's name? I mean, he does work at the CIA.

With the way people are talking, before Bush came along the world was a joyous place where Muslims danced hand in hand with Jews while the Hindus and Christians frolicked through fields of lilies. So I am wondering, will heaven on earth return once Bush's term has ended?

Just wanted to give a little advice here. I keep running into so much mistrust and hatred directed at police officers it's no wonder we're in the situation we are in (some justified, most just misdirected anger). Just a little tip that I hope everyone thinks about, next time you see your local police officer(s), introduce yourself, compliment/thank them if you feel they've done a good job, and lay the foundations for a trusting relationship with them. It is amazing how important just a "hello" or a nod can be. I'm not saying you have to be friends with them, I'm just saying offer your trust and I promise they will offer you theirs. Think this would be a good first step?

On 2/23/07 the USDOT made the annocument that 100 Mexcian trucking co.'s and 100 american trucking co.'s would begin a pilot program to let them haul freight into and out of each others countries. Know we do have program like this set up already which falls under the free trade zone. The free trade zone is 20 to 25 miles over each others border which is the limit of which each others trucks can travel into and and out of each others countries. This is going to make bad sitiuition even worse with the quality of Mexcian truck drivers being in this country and not knowing the habit s of american drivers. Not being able to read american traffic signs. This must be the most insane pilot progran I have ever heard of. Your comments on this???

If not, why not? Explain the relation between this idea and the Constitution's first amendment.

If so, should there be any limitations? Should there be further Constitutional amendments to limit speech in given circumstances, such as during time of war?

DRAFTING AL GORE ???

In the past Al Gore as a candidate has frustrated me. I thought that he paid too much attention to pollsters and conflicting advisors, and failed to heed his own convictions. He knew that the environment is the most important long-term concern that this nation faces (pollution, global warming, energy resources, topsoil erosion, etc.), but he was afraid that the American people would not listen, or that he would be tarred as an out-of-touch policy wonk.

Now things have changed. The nation seems to be spontaneously greening. The big oil companies tout their green energy programs; evangelical Christians are going green; architects win prizes for their green building designs; large companies spontaneously are capping carbon emissions; environmental organizations are finding new clout (witness their influence in the recent $45 billion buyout of the energy giant TXU in Texas); people are buying hybrid cars; trying to reduce waste, recycle, and compost. We have a long way to go as a nation, but it is becoming obvious that the people (the electorate) are way ahead of the politicians. A critical mass may be coalescing. A sea change in public thinking may be on the horizon.

Major cultural changes don’t happen until the time is ripe. That is why I believe that it may be time to draft Al Gore for the Democratic 2008 Presidential race. I don’t believe he will aggressively seek the nomination and confront Hillary. But his recent Oscar for “An Inconvenient Truth” has undoubtedly stoked the old fires of political ambition. Gore is smart and articulate, deeply comprehends foreign and domestic policy issues, and will be a shrewder campaigner than before. And he does have a dry sense of humor. Hillary remains a polarizing figure. Obama is young and inexperienced. Gore is unquestionably the best-qualified individual on the scene today to lead our country out of the current morass.

What sane person would today want the daunting job of U.S. President?
Gore is indeed sane, and if he can be persuaded to run, our country will be very fortunate. Let’s try to see that he is drafted. Please join me in discussing him with progressive influential friends, forwarding this e-mail, or whatever you can do to get the ball rolling. We owe it to our country – to our children and grandchildren, -- and to our planet, which is our only home.

Three years ago I was this man's sales manager and we were on the road. It got late and him and another co-worker were hungry. They pulled in McDonalds at 10:59 (sign said they closed at 11:00) and were refused service. Words were exchanged and the man who is now after me (Ken) threw a huge rock right through the window. Back to the hotel & the next thing you know Fred was involved in a physical may lay with the police that came for him. He was sentenced to 2 years in prison.

Ken states it was my sales training that gave him such confidence he could get away with breaking the law. Also, I did not write or call Ken while he was in jail and he keeps saying "Not one phone call or letter". Further states I cost him 2 years & the birth of his baby daughter. States he paid his debt to society & will make an example out of me for selling him down the river. How are his actions POSSIBLY my fault?

What would you do? Personally.. I'd still allow them to take reps out and wine and dine them.. so that you can still have political conversations and special interests can at least be addressed... but I would say no trips/tickets things like that and NO campaign contributions.. what would you do if you had the power?

I would LOVE to see our environment cleaner than it is. I think it is sad that, if people in Los Angeles woke up to a clean blue sky tomorrow morning, they would wonder why it is no longer yellow.

However, I am sick of this Liberal fear mongering. I am sick of people flying their private jets around the nation telling US to use less fuel. I am sick of idiots thinking that, after hundreds of millions of years, our planet could be destroyed by burning fuel.

However, when the Liberals quit trying to scare us into cleaning up the environment, I will jump on board. I will buy a "green" vehicle, as long as it can tow my boat. I don't want no sissy vehicle, but I don't need to get 10 MPG either.

Are the Liberals doing more harm than good? Will you jump on the bandwagon with me, just to get them to shut up??
