My boyfriend was sentenced to 8 years for bein an accesory to robbery...?
is it true that he can be eligble for parole in 2 years...or does he have to at least do half of his sentence which is 4 years...he says he only has to do 20% of his 8 years.....i always heard u have to atleast do half..please help

However long it is, just make sure you are long gone by the time he gets out. Criminals inevitably re-offend, and if you don't dump him you'll spend the rest of your life looking over your shoulder for the police to arrest him, or visiting him in jail.

Depends on if he is doing state or federal time.
If it's state time, he will do half or less depending on local laws.
Go to your states dept of corrections website and look for a FAQ link.
Federal is straight time
