George W., as our President is often called for short, is sometimes abbreviated G.W.

So is Global Warming.

George W. Bush narrowly [if legitimately] defeated a top enviromental advocate, Al Gore, in the 2000 election.

I'm not implying anything, I just find that an interesting coincidence.

I had heard somewhere that Abraham Lincoln had slaves, and wasn't actually really against them. Is any part of this true?

If you owe someone $100, and they renounce this claim in writing (ie. write specifically that they no longer want the money back), can they still come back and claim it after all one month later?

When will we be able to tell the unions to fire the workers that are destroying the reputation of the unions? They find their little cubbyholes to sleep in or right out in the open, they have side work they do while they are supposed to be doing the job they pay union dues for. Their demands are killing the employers while they have union attorneys fight for their right to sit and do nothing, when will we be able to fix this?

I find it very refreshing that so many conservatives have apparently listened to the message of the scientists and are now worried about how much power political figures use in their homes. Clearly they are admitting that such power usage causes global warming, just like Bush, McCain, Giuliani, and Brownnback have stated.

Now if they'd only learn what an "offset" is. Really, it's a clever idea, and one that was used by Bush to regulate SO2 and NOx emissions (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clear_Skies_Initiative).

Everyone, not just political figures, can offset their carbon usage, so don't worry conservatives, we're going to stop global warming!

In the house I was renting, I discovered that there was a live double mains plug socket hidden behind the bath panel.

One socket had the Saniflow unit plugged into it, the other socket had nothing plugged in.

Due to poor plumbing, the saniflow backfired and sprayed water everywhere - including under the bath - for a few hours, and could easily have reached into these plug sockets.

We could have been electrocuted and killed.

Can we sue the landlord for failing to ensure the house was safe?

Do you truly believe the big whigs in government or are you more of a freedomist? Do republicans understand the war on drugs and it's horrible implications? Do the democrats understand taxes actually hurt economic growth that takes away better production, including healthcare, cars, homes, medicines, food......? Does anybody believe in freedom in a free land anymore?

I was made the Administrator over my husband's estate after his death. What authority do I have to retrieve or request any information regarding his missing property, business dealings, records held by other indivduals that would reflect on taxes, etc. When I was made the Administrator by my attorney, nothing was explained to me. I have had to find out on my own, and have found that I have more responbilities than I know what to do with.

If companies continue to battle over dollar and efficiency, is that a bad thing? Is profit a bad thing, or is it an indication of more needed investment by the private sector into a particular industry? Is there such a thing as a monopoly other than patents that run out, or do only governments create true harmful monopolies?
