Well first off THC is not physically addicting. Cocaine use is different from cocaine addiction. Some people have the ability to use drugs recreationally and not get hooked.
Oh and who cares? He admits it. He doesnt hide it.

Because he very intelligently brought up the things he did in his youth himself. People of his generation experimented with drugs like the greatest generation experimented with fascism, and communism, and alcohol. He never said he was addicted, but even if he did have the disease of addiction he is not currently using, and if you don't believe that see if your right wing buddies will ask him to take a drug test. But if he takes one they all should. You might even loose more seats in the house and senate then.

Because it is old news. He has written about this in his best selling book and everyone knows it already. He's pretty smart to do this if you ask me. He's an astute politician and has experience in the hard world of Chicago politics. He's down to earth and unbelievably popular right now. I guess people think he's honest for admitting to these problems but like you say, who knows if he's still using and what does this say to teens, that it's OK to experiment?

I have heard plenty of talk about it. In fact, so much that the sentiment will turn in favor of him for being persecuted. Not that this is right though. The fact is that he used drugs in the past. Whether he uses drugs now is fair game. And, he will self destruct before the primary.

Darth Cheney's life, the stock market took a major tumble
yesterday & some Katrina victums are still homeless.
People with brains realize what we should really be worrying about.

They do talk about his cocaine addiction. He wrote a book about it. he overcame his addiction years ago and became hugely successful, unlike Bush, who did coke and sank several companies into the ground on his way to the White House

How can you say that based on his admission to the use of those things that he was/is an addict? I can see the smoking addiction claims, but I think you are reaching a little bit here.

Because birds of a feather flock together. They won't say 'cause he's one of them. And shouldn't be president just for that reason. How many thumbs down will I earn today? I'm beginning to think thumbs down are positive responses considering the source. Nyuk!
