Seriously. I have never understood this premise. Wilson goes to Africa, comes back, and says he think Bush is full of it. OK. His opinion.

I just cannot picture Bush and Rove sitting in the White House saying "that damn Wilson! I hate him. He's ruining everything! I know! Let's out his CIA WMD expert wife! That'll make his views on WMD's less credible and get him good!!"

Come on people. This whole thing is so lame. There's still debate going on as to whether she even was a covert CIA agent.

Is it outing if you post the CIA janitor's name? I mean, he does work at the CIA.

Who is on trial for disclosing a covert agent's name? And again, how does "outing" Plame discredit Wilson? Even if they did it. What in the Hell does it get them?

Barb, you need to get some moveon.org buttons and attend some protests. I think your anger is bottling up. And again, you drivvle does nothing to answer my questions; it just repeats the questionable mantra that Bush outed Plame. Sure he did. Like she or Wilson are that freakin' important.

Outing didn't discredit her husband
the lies in his report did

Valorie Wilson was a covert agent. This is not under dispute--if it were, that would have come out in the Libby trial, don't you think? The point of discrediting Wilson has everything to do with the White House trying to wiggle out from under the lies they made about Niger and yellow cake uranium.

The outing of Ms. Plame was pure revenge for her husband disputing the Bush warmongers statements as their reason for invading Iraq.

Mr. Wilson brought his report back simply discrediting everything Mr. Bush and his cronies were saying about WMD's and other weaponry in Iraq.

Your second paragraph fully explains the mentality (of a 2 year old), attitude and dangerous activities that take place in the Bush administration. They are petty, they are liars, they are sneaky, they abuse the power of their respective offices.

Outing a CIA agent can jeopardize not only the agents life but the lives of her family, the security of our country and the safety of our citizens.

Bush is a shameless criminal, surrounded by other shameless criminals. He and his presidency are a black mark in our history and will go down as the very worst. Even Nixon, as bad as he was, wasn't responsible for the deaths of over 3000 American soldiers and countless thousands of Iraqis.

Wilson discredited himself by lying in his reports.

The common theory is that Wilson denied the WMD connection existed because that was what his wife maintained and she was "outed" to make the conflict of interest public.

The fact of the matter is that everyone in the Washington circuit knew they were married because they frequently socialized and Wilson also publicly announced she was an agent, even after she was desk bound.

The whole deal was centered around the fact that the White House didn't send Wilson to Niger, HIS WIFE SENT HIM! He said one thing in his first report and then completely reversed himself in his second. He has no credibility and neither does his wife.

Outing wasn't an attempt to discredit him, it was a reciprocal attack. And there is no debate over her role in the CIA. She was a covert agent. The debate is over whether or not that information was classified. Please get your facts straight if you intend to ask a leading question and then have your sock puppet answer.
