With the way people are talking, before Bush came along the world was a joyous place where Muslims danced hand in hand with Jews while the Hindus and Christians frolicked through fields of lilies. So I am wondering, will heaven on earth return once Bush's term has ended?

What peace? Those who broke the peace were the 19 terrorists. My President did not.

Also, once President Bush's term is over, the liberals will eat the world.

Well I disagree that the world was at peace, and yes 9-11 was planned and acted out because Pres. Clinton didn't act on bin laden quickly or hard enough after The Cole and the embassy bombing .
but
and its a big but i do hope and think we need to try to mend the fences Bush knocked down.
i feel the u.n. could be a great place but as of now its a joke
we are counted on for most of the funding and also if there is a problem are troops are sent in to fix it.

If the U.N. could act as a unified group, were neighbouring countries to a problem are forced to give aid and troops when needed.

Yes i believe things may get better when Bush leaves, but i hope the man who replaces him doesn't offer up to big of an olive branch. REMEMBER we took a big hit on Sept. 11th and I know I will not ever forget ot forgive for what the Radical Muslims did that day.

There were obviously problems before Bush took office and ignored all of the evidence leading up to 9/11.

Unfortunately religious idiots hold a lot of power on this planet - Christians, Muslims, and Jews are attempting to bring about the 'end times' that their books 'predicted' by spreading ignorance and fear, and then sitting back and watching the chaos that ensues.

Bush's removal (either by term ending or otherwise) would definitely be a stabilizing force in the world though. His adamant refusal to hold talks with anyone he has deemed a 'terr'rist' and his acts of aggression worldwide have spawned more terrorists and have given countries like Iran and N. Korea exactly what they wanted all along.

Depending on who ends up being the next president, they have a chance to undo some of the f**kups of the last 6-7 years, and start moving in the right direction. I wouldn't hold my breath though - politicians on both sides are only concerned about winning, they don't care about solving problems.

P.S. Jesus did a lot of idiots post answers showing that they have absolutely no comprehension of irony. That question was dripping with it - but that seems to be a lot of Dubya's supporters problem - their irony detectors are completely broken, and they think that things said ironically are meant to be serious. Sad really.

There was never a heaven on earth. Before Bush the world was worst off than it is now. With the USA at war we Americans feel are lives disturbed. Before Bush two more countries were ruled by harsh dictators Afganistan and Iraq. These countries were breeding grounds for terror shutting them down is only the right thing to do.

I've never heard anyone say the world was peaceful before Bush. Maybe you should stop being an extremist.

But with Bush out of office, theoretically, we have a shot at having a leader who is more open to changing his actions to fit the situation, rather than one who sits in a pot of boiling water, letting his skin blister, all the while insisting that it's ice water.

Of course there is no doubt about it. Unless one of his family members take over, then uh oh, big problem. Other then that no worries, The world will be safe again, at least America will be safe again.... not to say that there wasn't any war before he run the country but at least innocent children and woman won't die unnecessarily. Now that is the problem the world is facing with Bush's way of handling the war...innocent people dying!!!!!!!

lol, the islamonazis have been a problem and creating terrorist attacks since the 80's (and about 3 thousadn years prior to that). Clinton made fake peace and dint handle bin laden either, all so that it would look peacefull while a democrat was in there and now that a republican is in the mud trying to solve our problems the dems scream "all we are saying, is give peace a chance"

Go back to your bong circle hippie.

Clearly either you're joking or under 10 and don't remember much of the World Before George F***ed It.

His damage, imo, will be long and lasting. This is the start of the Hatfield-McCoy fued, and we're one family and the rest of the world is fast becoming the other.

It will take a lot of healing to end this, and it won't end with Dubya.

Peace is not simply the absense of conflict but the presence of justice.

The world is rarely ever as at peace as people would like us to believe. The world was certainly not at peace before the election of President Bush.

I have a good friend who spent more time in combat prior to 2000 than he has since the outbreak of war in Iraq.

I love your question. I laughed heartily at the" Hindus and Christians frolicking" part. You have a way with words. Thanks for the laugh. Oh, my answer is I hope it will be somewhat more peaceful when the war monger is out of office. I think a lot of people missed your sarcasm, pity, I thought it was priceless.
