This a general question,I'm not asking about Democrats or Republicans.I'm asking what do you think of all politicians.I personally think that just about all politicians are people whose agendas have nothing to with what is best for the people they represent, and that their main purpose is to gather power and/or wealth for themselves. What do you think?

i have to write an essay on presidential candidates and write about if they cover my important issues. for example gay marriage is one of my issues.

i read that Barack Obama opposes gay marriage but supports civil union and gay equality.

what is civil union?

and to me i thought gay equality meant that gays are treated equal as everybody else. so wouldnt that mean they should be treated equal with marriage? i guess i dont know what gay equality means either; what does it mean?

also, what does stem cell research have to do with abortion?

One after another (Denmark, Britain, Australia etc.) the rest of the world is perceiving the invasion of Iraq as folly. Apparently most of the American people too see it as a bad idea. It is quite likely that Americans will elect as their next president a leader who understands that when you have lost at the craps table it's really, really dumb to think that throwing more money on the table will lead to a win which will recoup your losses. Wiser players know that there's a time to cut your losses and stand up and walk away from the table. The player who thinks that throwing good money after bad will bring him a win is the player who eventually sacrifices the title to his home and goes home on the bus broke.

The so-called "coalition of the willing" is evaporating. The goodwill towards America long held by such as Australia is being lost. The Bushco strategy seems to be like an alcoholic who decides that he needs a shot of whisky to give him the strength to give up drinking.

Under what circumstances should the government be able to force its citizens to be vaccinated against diseases? What kinds of diseases should have mandatory vaccines? Airborne diseases? STD's? Any vaccines that are available?

Suppose there was a disease that would kill 10% of the public if nothing was done. A vaccine is developed which will prevent the disease most of the time, but causes death 1% of the time it is used. Should the government require everyone to get that vaccine in order to save 9% of the people, even if that means deliberately sentencing 1% of the people to death?

In a statement from my attorney it says:

(Defendant's Name), solely, jointly, and/or severally, or in alternative, in an amount not in excess of one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000), together interest, costs, counsel fees and such further relief as this Court deems just and appropriate.

DOES THIS MEAN THE COUNSEL FEES ARE SEPARATE?

Why are we in Iraq? We were supposed to find weapons of mass destruction but we never did. Bush owns stock in oil company's and in companies that build tanks and missles. Is he just stirring stuff up to make some money? Because supposedly his cabinet own stock in the same companies and some more.

If a sweet innocent girl was brutally assaulted in school for no reason, and the offender laughs about it while she is crying in excruciating pain on the ground, and the girl parents only find out about it 10 months later, can they still file a law suite against the offender? Both the victim and the offender are 16 years old now, but at the time of the assault it’s possible that one or the two were 15 years old, does that makes any difference?

It happened in the State of CALIFORNIA, city of Corona.

THANK YOU!

Why do you think most of your political opponents hold different beliefs than you do? Is it because they are misguided anduninformed? Or is it because of their character, such as being selfish, lazy, amoral, or just plain evil?

If you think it's both, how many of your opponents are misguided vs. evil? Which factor tends to motivate them the most...their ignorance, or their lack of values?

Is it legal for an apartment complex to charge you for shampooing the carpet (it does not state you have to do it in the lease), cleaning the apartment and painting the apartment when you move out?

My husband and I moved out of an apartment complex and they deducted these charges from our security deposit. When we left the apartment, I made sure it was clean - vaccuumed, cleaned the appliances/counters, and was on my hands and knees scrubbing the floors. (I'm also 3 months pregnant and shouldn't have been inhaling the fumes of the cleaners, but it had to be done.)

Now this is an apartment complex that brings in a minimum of $78000 a month just from the complex we lived at, and to my knowledge, they go in and clean and repaint between tenants every time, so why do I have to pay for this?!

Any advice is appreciated. This complex is in Toledo, Ohio. Serious answers only - my blood pressure can't take smart asses.

For years now Jesse Jackson and his buddies have been boycotting South Carolina cause they want to honnor their ancessters. A Cofederate BATTLE flag flies on the capitol grounds. Till they take that flag down, no money is to be spent in the beautiful state of South Caroilna. I'm sure that helps his fellow brothers that owns small busineses in the state.
When I visit Six Flags in Gurnee Illinois or Eureka Missouri I see many, many African Americans walk right under the Confederate GOVERNMENT flag on their way to the entrance. Jesse never gets upset and tells The Six Flags Corp. "Take that flag down". The government flag is the one he should get upset over. First, that government no longer exists. Secondly, that is the flag stands for rebellion and seperation. Yet it is one of the six flags that flies at all Six Flags theme parks. I also seen it flying over many federal and local funded rest areas along the interstate road ways in the south. How come no one gets upset over that flag?
