This a general question,I'm not asking about Democrats or Republicans.I'm asking what do you think of all politicians.I personally think that just about all politicians are people whose agendas have nothing to with what is best for the people they represent, and that their main purpose is to gather power and/or wealth for themselves. What do you think?

You know most people believe the government is out of control. What happened to "We the people"? To say government is out of control is like saying we are out of control. That is true. The reason is, we want someone else to take charge and fix Washington! Most think as an individual we can't do any thing. Voting has dropped so low I don't have any idea what % still vote. We are going to spent billions on the next presidential election and we can't even vote for or against them. Most are scum bags or soon will be because we let them!

I would think most, if not all, have an agenda to gain power for themselves...They will tell the people what they want to hear with hopes that most people they represent are all village idiots and will actually BELIEVE what he/she ( the politician) is saying. They would sell their mother's soul if necessary to retain the power~ They also will go against their own beliefs if necessary to keep their position. They will smile and tell you how they care about YOU or the people and want to do the right thing~ meanwhile, 99.9% of it is BS..it's just for the POWER...

Parasites, like tape worms, living off the sweat and backs of the poorer people.
They all have ulterior motives and agendas.Wealth and power, most all become multi-millionaires by the time they retire.Up-words of $89,000 per year to start. The best of health care available.Their own private Social Security System, not what us peons get to live on.Oh no,they get their pay at what they retire at for life, like in excess of $250,000 a year.
It makes you sick to your stomach.I want a super computer to do all their jobs,we all have S.S.#'s,call in your vote to the PC.Give the country and the vote back to the people.
Not to the Parasitic,Pedophile,Politicians.

I guess that politicians are still normal people at first. The only difference they have is that they want to express their convictions and get people to think the same way they do. They're people who want, and need, power, like we all do, only more than others. Because we all want power, it is in the human nature. Still, politicians are people who want more than others, and try to do so.

And when people say that they hate all politicians, I'd say that it's kind of stupid, since we need them. I repeat it, they're normal people. They only want to lead others into a certain way. We need them, if politicians wouldn't exist, who would lead countries, doctors? I think they also take a lot of sacrifices because first, it costs a lot to make a campaign, and second, they play their personnal reputations. If everybody hates them when they see them on tv, they're not going to like them anymore on the streets so they'll have to stay in their corner for a while.

I think they are ppl that by nature are arrogant and think they know best for the world... most of them are power hungry and forget they work for us... that we pay their salary.

I do think some of them don't start off bad... maybe they have a good idea and an honorable set of values... but in the end arrogance corrupts them.

This is why I am a true-believer in term limits for all politicians. I've heard many of them admit, always when they have left office btw, that politics is addicting like being a professional athlete. Once you are out of it, it is like missing a drug and painful to watch it continuing on without you.

You need to throw out about 50 % in the republican party and about 70 % in the democratic party then after that every one else would get in line

Politicians are strategists on how to get the support of the people to put them in power either to serve the people or corrupt their money.

While this may be true of some, it isn't right to generalize about them like that. There are many good, kind, sacrificial politicians who care deeply about their country.

I trust them about as far as I can throw them. It used to be where the average person could actually be president.......now it's something only for the very wealthy and elite.
