That's because of their (Hebrew) religion which is as outdated as the muslim sect. It keeps women down. It's also an old article, things have changed somewhat since then.

Isn't it amazing how politics makes strange bed fellows? Yesterday, you were the party of beatniks, but b/c of your search to find as much evidence as you can to show the error of Bush's ways, you are now seen as antisemitic.
The story you reference is but one example of a different culture and attitude towards women. In that culture, our "friend" has to be seen as relative. Are you amazed and shamed that you oppose those that defend us from that mentality? Our relatively open-minded culture is hated by those that wish to see it destroyed. For our grandchildren, I hope that we succeed in our mission. Even if that means Bush, Clinton, or anyone else would gain from that outcome. And if allying with Israel helps serve that purpose, then I'm for it.
