Some of the disabled have special vans to help them move around. I get the feeling you want to get back at someone on SSI disability and you should know that its not so much income based, that is you have to be under some income limit, as it is disability based. Its not like state welfare. If Bill Gates got paralyzed he'd be eligible for disability.

You might want to contact your local SSI division. I don't know how different states work. However, I used to do case management work, and all my clients who had SSI could not have a net worth (in the bank or property over $2,000- $2500.00- they would have to "spend down..) You may try contacting some non profit agencies that work with people (such as those with disabilities) or a local welfare office may be able to give you that information. You could do it anonymously or claim you are attempting to help out someone with their affairs. Good luck to you!

Yes you are, you can own a car, a house and furniture. Just because you are disabled doesn't mean you have lost your rights as an american. If you are not sure of what I am telling you, contact the SS Administration. Now if you own these and want food stamps, the stupid laws we have will tell you that you can't own a nice car and draw food stamps. Isn't that about the dumbest thing you ever heard of. America, ain't she great????
