Bank of America is giving ILLEGALS credit.
They do not even have to have a SS number. I have to have a SS number in order to open an account.

Discrimination against LEGAL AMERICAN CITIZENS! This has to be stopped.

Jeeze! Good question. Which party, indeed?!

True Americans really need to speak up on this issue.

I currently cannot get my CDL renewed. I have never in my 40 years had a certified copy of my birth certificate, and the hospital one with the footprint has always been adequate.

I had to go online and fill out a form to send to California, and it had to be notarized (do that without a driver's license). I just received a post-card from CA (4 weeks after I sent my application), saying it would be another 6 weeks before I received my birth certificate.

Illegal immigrants waltze in with their fake documents, and waltze out with a driver's license.

I'm 6 feet tall, I'm blonde with green eyes. And homeland security is unsure if I'm a citizen.

Oh, and I will add that I am licensed to practice law.

For once something that both sides can sort of come to an agreement on?!?!

I keep giving out this ip address and people keep telling me that it is an exaggeration of what Bush is doing........But in fact it is exactly what Bush is doing!

Clinton took the first step with NAFTA.

This is another globalization technique.

Republicans and Democrats are involved to this globalization!!

Do you really want to become the United States of North America OR the North American Union???

Bank of America issuing credit to illegals is another step in this globalization because if all goes as planned there will no longer be illegal Mexican Immigrants we will all be one happy continent with open borders and free trade.

Do yourself a favor and really devout the 20 minutes or so to learn more about the legislation that Bush has already passed and the practices that have already been put into play toward the North American Union!!!

The Project for a New American Century & the New World Order are one in the same towards globalization and both major political parties are involved!

U.S. Representative, Tom Tancredo, seems to be the only politician that cares about the Illegal "invasion".

(Washington, DC) – U.S. Representative Tom Tancredo (R-CO) today sent a letter to Attorney General Alberto Gonzales and Department of Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff asking them to look into whether Bank of America’s decision to offer credit cards to customers who do not have Social Security numbers creates a dangerous loophole for would-be terrorists seeking to finance their efforts.

“After September 11th, we were told that money was the lifeblood of terrorists, and that we should do everything possible to block their access to financial resources,” said Tancredo. “Today we are hearing a far different message: Bank of America, it’s everywhere Terrorists wants to be.”

A front page story in Tuesday’s, February 13, 2007 Wall Street Journal profiled Bank of America’s ill advised effort. The paper wrote that the program is open to people who lack a Social Security number, while pointing out that the bulk of adults in the U.S. lacking a Social Security number are illegal immigrants.

In the letter, Tancredo also notes that Bank of America may be violating the law by offering these services as federal immigration laws makes it a crime for any person or entity to harbor, transport, conceal, aid or abet illegal aliens.

Lamplighter, when you say, "more humane", what you really mean is, "amnesty" for the illegals. Let's be truthful, O.K? If it wasn't for the Republicans in congress (before the election), we would already have an "amnesty" bill in front of Pres. Bush. Now, with the Democrats in power it will be nearly impossible to stop them.

With elections coming up politicians will be trying to grab on to anything that helps their party and it is a fact that illegal immigration is an issue that crosses party lines. It's a political gold mine.

That being said, I would still have to say that it will probably be a Republican. Many of the Rep candidates for 08 have a long history of standing against illegal immigration. Duncan Hunter being the toughest.

The following is a list of representitives who voted to GIVE illegal immigrants Social Security benefits. Please notice to which party the majority belong.

Neither because the federal government doesn't care about immigration. If they did this would have been handled by 9/11. Talk of amnesty is how ignorant they are. Illegal immigration is Illegal and that's that when is the last time you got amnesty on a crime, parking ticket, or traffic violation?

Neither. Both major parties in the US ultimately represent the interests of Big Business. "Illegal" immigrants are a pool of cheap labour and a means of keeping wage rates low. The process is worldwide - a product of the globalisation of the world economy and now irreversible.

Based on the increasing number of Hispanics participating in local and national elections, neither party will run the risk of antagonizing them.

It isn't about Homeland Security...it isn't about American jobs...

It is all about Politics!

Look at the individual, not the parties. Tancredo and Hunter are each strong on this point. They happen to be Republican. However, if a Democrat comes out strong on this point (credibly), I am willing to consider them, too.

Definitely not the Republicans. They answer to big business on the war, illegals...everything. If big business says "don't worry about the illegals", then Bush will look the other way. If big business says that a war would be good business, then war it is.

The Democrats are more likely to do something about illegal immigration, but it won't make the antis ecstatic, because it will be more humane than the hard-right will like.
