I had my older brother's camera in school to film something for a charity event. I locked it in my locker, the next day it was thieved from the said locker its not that the camera is very important but it has a lot of my brother's wedding footage, and vacation footage My principle is incompetent and said she could not see anyone on the school security cameras. I don't know what to do since the memories stolen are severely more important then the camera and she said "Ill tell you if someone turns it in" which is ridiculous mostly due to the week long vacation coming up the camera will be sold or the footage taped over. Help

The Soviets ignored the will of the people and bled their nation to death in Afghanistan.

The GOP ignores the will of the people and are bleeding our nation to death in Iraq.

Both the GOP and the Communists could care less about the will of the people (and seem to almost gloat in flouting the will of the public).

1. The Mahdi Army and other militias laying low during the surge

2. Insurgents leaving Baghdad for less secure areas, and returning once the surge is over.

3. Insurgents picking up arms after US troops leave.

In other insurgencies, this is what has happened. For example, the French basically destroyed the rebels in Algeria, but that didn't stop them from popping back up. How can the US realisticlyfix the root causes of the conflict between the Sunni and Shia, when political solutions haven't worked til now? How can the US stop the flow of Iranian, Saudi Arabian, and Syrian support for the various sides?

It seems to me that while General Petraeus may be a counterinsurgency guru, the issues I have listed make any victory in the conventional sense unlikely. If what I have said is even somewhat true, won't it be impossible to tell if the surge actually worked until it has been over for a couple of months?

Serious answers please. Try not to be partisan.

...American liberals/dems want to remove American troops from Iraq, pronto. They are making moves to defund the effort. Are liberals considering the many repercussions of surrendering to the terrorist insurgents in Iraq? Please explain your position whatever it may be. Thanks...and if you are a liberal, please answer the question I posted. I`m sure you were getting ready to go off on a tangent of some sort...Thanks again !

A realistic answer please.

I find it hard to believe so many people would "die for a country" that would barely remember them after they are gone.

The transit vehicle taking you to prison crashes and rolls over, leaving the guards very dazed (but ok) on the floor, but you aren't injured. The vehicles doors have opened with impact and the guard's keys are within easy reach on his belt.

Would you escape and take your chances as a wanted fugative, or wait to for the follow up authorities to continue to take you to prison and hope the justice system comes good on your case in the future ?

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- 19 Republicans joined Democrats on Friday in passing a two-sentence resolution denouncing President Bush's plan to boost troop levels in Iraq.
House passes resolution opposing Bush's Iraq policy 246-182.
"The president has gone against the advice of his own generals and the will of the American public," said James Thurber, a Republican. "I think the president is out of touch with respect to what the American people want. It shows in the polls."
get him gone. he is the head of this corrupt administration. if you don't believe me that it's corrupt, look back at how many Republican leaders were in some sort of scandal. Money=power. Money+power=corruption. give a man an inch and he'll take a mile. Give Foley a boy, and he'll run 50 miles. with the boy.

the war cost is how many trillion of dollars now?
they said its enough to have built 35k schools in the US. Gotta love it. the american public is screwed becuz bush didn't like that some world leader tried killin dad!
