usually when you go from reserve to active, you have to redo your physical or use your old one. If you have sworn into active already, you are fine, if you havent sworn in yet, you WILL NOT be able to go active. All recruiting guidelines say that you CANNOT be pregnant when you enlist, no matter what the circumstance, prior service, reservist, doesnt matter your status.

You may be able to get a waiver, but I doubt it. You will have to stay reservist until after term and re submit your dd 368 (request for conditional relaese). Sopry to be bearer of bad news.

Good luck

I am a recruiter so I will give you the real deal. First of all, unless you are sure your pregnant, do not assume. When you go to MEPS, they will not give you another physical except your height and weight because you should have had a physical with your Reserve unit in the last year. The Army is only concerned with what a Doctor has diagnosed you with. And home test can be wrong a lot, so get it confirmed.

If you are confirmed pregnant and MEPS knows, then no you cannot go Active unitl after you give birth (assuming you are married and the husband is not in the military). Once you are active and you get pregnant, then of course you can stay active duty. The Army is just worried about pre existing conditions.

JUST MAKE SURE YOU KNOW THAT I AM IN NO WAY TELLING YOU TO LIE AND/OR CONCEAL INFORMATION. THIS WOULD BE VERY ILLEGAL FOR ME TO ADVISE THAT. I AM SAYING DO NOT ASSUME AND GET PROPER DIAGNOSIS FOR YOUR BENEFIT AND FOR A PROPER ENLISTMENT ONTO ACTIVE DUTY.

No experience of being a reservist going active. But right now I'm married on active duty. If I get preg. I will still remain on active duty. No matter what. I would just be assigned to light duty. They can not kick me out. So since you all ready signed. I don't think there is anything they can do. If they try to say no you can't go active. You need to fight them. Good luck with this.

Are you going active or AGR?

You should still be able to go from Reserve to Active even though you're pregnant, considering you're married and won't end up being a single parent. There may be some problems if your active unit is slated for deployment or if you need to attend a school in order to go from Reserve to active.

Kick your recruiter - he needs to look this up or get guidance from his chain of command before giving you an answer!

Infertility can be caused by a huge number of factors: hormone imbalance, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, Endometriosis, Anovulatory Cycles, physical blockage, inadequate hormone production, short luteal phase, lack of lutenizing hormone, high levels or prolactin, and many others. Poor nutrition often plays a major role, as does exposure to toxins. Age plays less of a role before menopause than was originally thought. While there are many wonderful naturally minded fertility specialists out there, in many cases it is not possible for them to test for and address any of these possible underlying issues.
