Civil Air Patrol is US airforce auxillary/cadet training. Sorta like ROTC in high school but you get more training than you would in ROTC. They are volunteer ground search and rescue training including CPR training. They teach in depth training of the air force all the ins and out of airplanes how the plane gets off the ground to how it stays in the air...there are even some unit in Civil Air Patrol that have planes at there access and teach you how to fly them step by step. Even though I was looking for a career and ultimatly chose another career Civil Air Patrol gave me a lot of life experiances and knowelge that a lot of people need. Leadership training Civil Air Patrol is a lot more than an after school program. It's a journey you find yourself in, if you let it, it can take you places with people you will grow to call friends and some family...Your triumps are not only your they are group acheivements because these people helped you get it. It changed my life. It could change yours too.
